  4. Hi,I would think if that's all that broke, then a new stick would be the best way,i never had to buy one,Have a look on ebay, myself I would get in touch with Horizon Hobby for something like that, there may well be other shops,or on the web who could have one ,punch it on Google to buy,see what comes up. Goldman
  5. If you are using a 5 size car out in a park or whatever, then it makes sense to have a killswitch on,anything can fail no matter how many times you check it etc,i also have a 5 onroad, used at a club track,so it is more of a closed area, but a killswitch would still be a good idea,at full pelt a petrol car is deadly, and cost a fortune to repair,if it hits someone, the cost would go out the window. 6. Am sure they will, given time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..... Goldman
  7. Keep looking on ebay, some will turn up,also for sale section on forum. Goldman
  8. As Already said, simply reverse the servo on Tx,& make sure end points are set up correct. Goldman
  9. I would doubt that the company will be closed down just because Mr FG cant behave himself, someone will step in to prevent that im sure, they would be mad not to,at least lets hope so. Goldman
  10. Small gas torch or maybe heat it over the gas ring on the cooker, hairdryer won do any good, uless you doing your hair as well. Goldman
  11. Your swash should be bang on level at 50% throttle,at this point it is in the middle, there should be no pitch on the main rotor blades at this position eather way+ or -,but it also needs to be level at both full throttle & also at at zero throttle, the other point you need to know is the swash mix settings,if you have set your TX to factory settings, then they will be totally wrong,if this is a spectrum TX,you could try Horizon Hobby for the original set up,but it may well be slightly different on each Heli, but is probably close, other than that a full set up will be the only way to get it right, and as it is,then the result may well be a wrecked Heli if it goes out of control,Hands Free Hovver is not really very likely on most, but not all RC Helis. Goldman
  12. Hi,yes that make does seem poor in general, not an easy one,but as you have also said some seem to have them without too many probs,in my mind, the next best option would be good used, but even that can end up costing, are you looking at one,or two cars?. Goldman
  13. Hi.what you need is the correct settings that were used in the first place, factory settings returns everything back to default,no good,as far as I know, you will need to do a full set up on the swash from start to finish, you will need the levelling tool, not easy without,& it needs to be spot on really, your best bet would be if you know someone who knows how is all done to show you how,its not as easy as a bit of subtrim here ect. Goldman
  14. Hi,am in Halifax,5 scale petrol. Goldman
  15. How about four nimh, should be ok I would think,Binding is very simple on flysky, most of them are very much alike. Goldman
  16. Think you can use the bind socket on most receivers for other stuff,i am using mine on my onroad car with a battery cheaker, just happened I had it spare, seems ok,i have the flysky gt3b setup.Think my monster has killswitch in on that one. Goldman
  17. Hi,I think your best bet would be to PM Jolly Roger on that one,i had a DX2,that was a bit different to my flysky set up,worked fine on that, but on DX2 would kill the engine if signal was lost, but then it was back up and working again, its something to do with the way the spectrum RX works. Goldman
  18. Got to tell us what was wrong, may help someone else later. We all have done silly things at one time or another. Goldman
  19. Are all the gaskets on the carb back on the rignt way, some have holes in that need to line up on carb body. Goldman
  20. Don't think engine had it,be something with fual,by the sound of it. Goldman
  21. Check vent hole in petrol tank cap, maybe blocked. Goldman
  22. A 5000mah should last a fair while in most cases, unless your servos are using a lot,a wall charger will charge it,but a better charger woul be a good solution, then you can up the charge rate a bit,& most tell you when its full,if they are set right. Goldman
  23. Perfect advice,& yes Lee is top bloke, . Goldman
  24. Yeh I like my bug too, they are a nice car,i did try dot4,not much happed with it,so maybe depends on paint used in first place. Goldman
