A bit I also have some aluminum foil tape stuff that I have stuck to the inside of the roll cage. Just helps stop the cage from melting.

Apart from the eleccy bits the 5ive is probably the toughest 5th scale out at the moment I have had mine for about 6-7 months and havent broken a thing yet. I am not a hard basher as I race mine but I have had some very big moments. Here is a vid of some one giving a good beating to one

Just thought I would post some pics of my 5ive. It has all three Losi chasis braces, Team Chase steering link, Two Savaox servos, Now has Bartolone brake disks, Red rear springs, Super Bee kill switch and a Samba pipe. This probably won't be an upgrade thread so to speak but I will update it if I get anything new and intresting. Its not the cleanest out there but it wasn't meant to be a shelf queen.

I have had a killer bee and now have a super bee for my 5ive and I would not trust anything else. The main things I like about the super bee is the glitch sensitivity and the low voltage cutoff just gives me that bit more security.

Where are you? I have a Team associated SC10 2WD with a castle sidewinder SCT combo in it works fine.

Not much just go over it as you would any kit. I havn't messed with the diff oils much as I'm not sure where to start for our astroturf tracks.

Probably the best thing I did was get a samba pipe it really wakes it up. But there are a few pipes out now so find one that suits your budget. The super bee has a low voltage cut off. I had a look on their website and they are allready out of stock with the 7200mah one.

How are guys liking the xs ss kit I have been looking at getting one but cant make my mind up.

I know Ed he is one of the drivers for rockingham land rover experince center. We used to have an old V8 discovery 1 that we took to the center for a driver training day and I ended up with Ed in his Range Rover sport which was fun he is a very good driver. He is also big into RC so we bonded very well and the occasonal time I go back he remembers me he was going to take me out in his bowler but he ended up trying to fix the diff lock on the disco insted. If you want to learn to drive off road propally he or his dad Vince are the guys to see.

In the middle of changing the shock fluid on my 5ive from 30wt to 35wt. I really don't like messing with shock oil.
