  3. well before i had 19t /48 spur....and just increased to 21t/48 spur. ..ur right before it was all cool.. but wasnt happy with the power so i stuck on the 21 pinion.
  4. also nimh battery is getting hot when i drive fast.motor seems kool ..im using finger to check the temp.
  5. just thought id get the calculator out and find out myself: 3.5tmotor...10800x8.4=90,720 -2slipo 5.5tmotor....7700x12.4=95,480 3s lipo.
  6. i get it now over 90k rpm. thanks for that its very helpful but while were on the subject rite what car would this motor suit as i aint got a darn clue!
  7. i got it the car was not built to handle motor. no wonder when i did the full throttle test in my bedroom(which didnt seem that fast tbh) it seemed like the camber linkeges where about to fall off due to vibration
  8. sorry can i just ask what you mean by Kill your car i mean in what way? as for the other person its a strada dc with rear diffs which i hope its not too bad. looks like i may have to stick with nimh on this system. cheers everyone

  11. my strada will be just fine i have a losi esc installed with 100amp at continious current .and a tekin 3.5t motor(10800kv. ..man im naughty)plus i got my camber and toe adjusted for straight drive ability. however i will start off with a lower pinion and keep constant lookout for any high temps on the motor and esc and battteries. i dont truly want to kill my nimhs because i want to get the most out of them.

  15. i have a 3.5t motor w/100a continous. esc. i have two lipo 2s packs 20c discharge rate 4000mah and two nimh packs one is a ansmann 3000 and other is 1800mah mavrrick...now im gonna setup tomorrow now should i use my lipos or my nimh. i bought the car second hand and got the nimh with it now id prefer to use the nimh and save the lipos for my heli but im worried about performance maybe gutter with the nimh!? thanks guys

  17. ps they were some cheap rubber ones of ebay..im thinking of getting buggy tyres as they will last longer
  18. im a newb and my rubber tyres only lasted 1 week just driving in a car park tarmac. can someone offer me an alternative!?
  19. the great thing about this hobby is its all about personal preference no one can tell you what to do. e.g. all the pro heli pilots moved onto flybarless system with their helis and almost everyone i know. ..i tried it and went back to flybar why i prefer the flybar feel and flying ability.why did i try it?to see what the hype was all about. you can say whatever you want and i can say whatever i want its my heli and i love it more than you love yours.you see no one comes upto me says why dont you go flybar you know why this hobby is all about personal preference. do what you want with your gear dude!
