  1. Savage? Maybe the savage octane, or a Baja? or the maverick blackout?
  2. I've broken my firestorm's front a-arms several times, but the RPM front arms are a really good upgrade. Other than that it's a really tough stadium truck!
  3. Thanks mate I'll update you ASAP. Cheers, Jgil
  4. Thanks for the help guys, I have already taken the filter out (I still gave the filter on the fuel line though) but haven't tested it yet. I'll let you know how it goes Cheers, Jgil
  5. Can anyone help????? Cheers, Jgil
  6. Hi mate I've also got the efirestorm, it was brushed but them I upgraded to brushless and it made a massive difference on 8.4v nimh. Would definitely reccomend upgrading to brushless, especially if u look on hobbyking. I got a esc and motor for 40 quid.
  7. Hi guys I recently got a hubsan x4 mini and it flew really well for about 5 charges, but then on the 6th charge, when I plugged it in, the transmitter light went green, but the lights blinked and it didn't turn the props. The battery was just charged and it was on normal mode. Admittedly I have crashed it a few times Just wondering if u guys could help me fix my problem Cheers, Jgil
  8. The fire bolt 15t motor by HPI is a good one...... Pretty fast... Cheers, Jgil
  9. I don't know, probably, but I'm getting a new tank anyway as there is dirt in the tank. Cheers, Jgil
  10. Only prob is I can't get the filter out of the fuel tank as it is inside the tank itself so I'm gonna get another one Cheers, Jgil
  11. You did read it right Cheers, Jgil
  12. I have found something which might have contributed to my probs: the filter inside the fuel tank was completely clogged up so it was restricting the fuel flow so it might have produced air bubbles (don't ask me how I came up with that theory, I just did ). The fuel line hasn't got any holes in (thankfully). I'm gonna get a new fuel tank and see where that gets me... Cheers, Jgil
  13. Just a heads up, when I got my dominator it said it was quite new but it had loads of gunk in the fuel and the filter was covered with grime, so even if it looks ok, I would defo strip the engine down and clean it, as well as cleaning the tank and fuel filter. Also with the macstar engine I've found that the one way bearing (it stops the pull start/ roto start from being destroyed) can break very easily so if you try and start it but the flywheel doesn't move then check the one way bearing (OWB )the part number is : H28021 (you can get it on the modelsport website) Cheers, Jgil
  14. Thanks Nitroholic I'll check on those points ASAP. I think there could be a split somewhere because I sometimes find air bubbles in the fuel line. Cheers, Jgil
