  1. and flat tipped ends like the ones above
  2. Tis true to the point 2 or more drivers have similar ability, then its down to setup, then the car itself. There's some decent drivers at my local. When they are all on it is a true battle of machines. Setup talk gives me ideas and directions for my driving style but, for me I just try to run a decent avg lap time and hope not to get lapped
  3. I see you attraction to these
  4. @bombercountynick ok: So I'll try to get this right.... 2 of mine are bashers so no problems there. Lc truggy wheels have a huge proprietry offset. 11-12mm if memory serves me well. You could us hex extenders with std buggy rims (Lc ones are 15mm) If all u want is a LWB you'll be better of buying the buggy kit, add your leccy gear, and get: Long chassis Long centre shaft Long top plate Long sideguards (not essential) maybe body mounts but I don't think so. May as well run the truggy motor to cos its a beast shorter (expected) run times mind you. That'll save you some coin 0 euro Or buy the rtr emb1 h and do the same but check the costings, it used to be cheaper this way (was for me)
  5. Yup, I've got 3 of them emb1 kit is at 139 euro at the moment
  6. you suggesting he replace the whole kit then? hahah. I'd go with the carisma shocks over the lc ones imho. Is it possible your steering rods are not equal in length? or just a pants servo perhaps?
  7. losi marketing hype I'm afraid Got a part number for the diff case Capri? the 2 on my MT are a pain
  8. Yes I did see some things from the expo. I wish I knew what changes they have made to the buggy though. The LC is a truly universal platform. I ran my truggy against touring cars last friday and was shocked at how well it competed, as were the onroad drivers . I simply lowered it and ran the shortest hardest springs I had with next to no droop. Just need a shell, front bumper, oil changes, high gearing and some boots If anyone wants this losi DB , pls do look at the LC 1st
  9. The LC truggy motor is awesome I'm converting my truggy to a touring car now
  10. Hi Do owners take pics here or is 1/16th to small to capture a chassis, suspension and steering assembly? ty
  11. and ansmann rebranded flyskyy though ansmann have pulled out of rc over a year ago, their products are still around. Graupner actually make and enginneer their products Their electronics are solid and very well priced to their counterparts. However their 'PR' is shocking. have a look at the X-8N tx
  12. You`re certainly not wrong there. The gear ratio will be different between a mod 1 and 0.8 even with the same tooth count. It is however very minor and is not worth considering as a tuning option alone. But yeah it will be important to know what you`re final drive ratio will be as getting close to what u have may not be an option. Surely somewhere out there though you can find an aftermarket spur for your model. I know a lot of people switch to mod 1 when running more power through the drivetrain. But it will be louder if that is of any concern to you...
  13. Thats the thing, they are so commonly mistaken. Doesn't mean they are no good mind.

    DS1015 Case

yes bud I should have, will need to check though
  17. tamiya tape is good. liquid mask is better. Or you could use a sign writing vinyl sheet cut to fit. U will need. an exacto knife or scalpel tweezers help. be sure to: use lexan paint wash the inside with warm (not hot) soapy (dish washing) liquid. and dry (hair dryer helps) Use clean hands or latex gloves stay clean and dust free utube has loads of help too
  18. All depends on the diffs internals imo... 1x used max roller. with useable shell etc.. 1x aftermarket centre dif 2x UE's diff ring/pinion combo 1x wheely bar + Leccy gear Then all Tbum get out of me is 20 odd quid I can live with that barring some cheapish stock repair parts. Now to find a reasonable roller....
  19. hello yes, yes there are some bolt on shocks (with damping) , that u can get. Try searching this thread as I know they have been posted previously. I even bought some but can not for the life of me remenber. sry to be unhelpful
