  1. Traxxas have just announced an upgrade kit for the Hoss, Rustler 4x4 and Slash 4x4. The kit includes upgraded driveshafts wit thicker axles, caster blocks, steering hubs, rear hubs, shock towers and steel wheel hexes. https://traxxas.com/products/parts/9080X?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Extreme Heavy Duty Packs Launch - CSM&utm_content=Extreme Heavy Duty Packs Launch - CSM+CID_baef6bdde090dc277b646cb6b5cff8ef&utm_source=Campaign Monitor E Blasts Is this a worthy development for these cars or just Traxxas being cynical and selling an expensive upgrade kit including parts that perhaps should have been fitted from standard? I am keen to hear your thoughts below! View full news article
  2. Hi, please see some photos below of some measurements I took. I hope this is what you were looking for?
  3. This kit is brand new, it was test fitted to my rustler 4x4 but I have since sold the car so no longer need this kit. The price is £15 posted ONO

  7. Used about 10 times. In excellent condition as can be seen in the photos, it was ran on low gearing and temperature checked after every battery pack. Selling due to experimenting with different motors. Price is £45 inc postage to UK, ONO
  8. I understand what you mean. Currently I am involved in the 'big fast 1/8 scale' game with my Tekno ET48.3; it runs a TP4060 1750kv motor with a Castle Mamba Monster X and has belted Backflip LP tyres. It does a good 60mph on grass and probably slightly more on road. I still feel that in a large space I would like it to be faster and I would still be able to keep it under control! The problem is with this is that you always want more speed/more power, it's a slippery slope! Currently I'm pretty happy with the car but it is quite unreliable and costly to run; but it seems mostly worth it to me as I love the rush of seeing it go past me at such speed and hitting a grass verge flat out for a jump. To get any higher than 60mph off road you would really need a money no object power system and a perfecty setup car with the right tyres, bodyshell, geometry, gearing etc and the perfect surface (super short, smooth grass) I agree with others reccomendation of buying an on road car for really high speeds and a basher truck that tops out at 50mph or so for off road stuff. That way both cars should be reasonably reliable and fun to drive.
  9. This car has been used very little, I am selling it as it was bought for a family member as a gift but they are no longer interested in using it. I have a few RC’s so have no use for it. As evidenced, it is in excellent condition and includes everything that came in the box originally. The ESC battery connector has been changed to an XT-90 connector, to work with my batteries, an adapter could be used to enable it to connect to deans again. Other than this, the car is completely standard and like new. I am looking for £200 posted to UK.
  10. A well looked after, frequently serviced car which is at equivalent to VXL + spec. As can be seen in the photos the car is in very good condition, it has a brand new, unused body shell which was used while storing the car. The list of upgrades installed is as follows: Traxxas aluminium caster blocks Front and rear RPM hubs 4 Traxxas big bore shocks RPM front bulkhead T-Bone racing front and rear bumpers Trackstar TS900 steering servo Hobbywing MAX10 ESC with 4000kv motor VXL steering toe links All sealed bearings Traxxas Talon EXT Rustler 4x4 wheels and tyres Several spare parts are included, please see image for detail. Also had a recent diff rebuild with o-ring sealing mod applied and brand new rear driveshafts. The gearing is currently 18t pinion 86t spur, this allows for a top speed on a 3S lipo of around 50mph so is not for beginners! Please note: you will require a battery and charger to operate the model Looking for £279 + £8.99 postage, offers welcome
  11. They will fit a wide range of cars. I also know they will fit onto the 2WD cars.
  12. Here is my Traxxas Fiesta ST Rally. Converted from a Slash 4x4. It has an Arrma 3S power system in it and runs a 17t pinion. Top speed is 51mph and drifts beautifully with 30k diff oil front and rear. I also have the front shocks mounted on the inner most position on the a-arms as this gives a lot more steering control.
  13. A complete set of front and rear GTR shocks with a rebuild kit and 3 spare shock shafts (worth nearly £30 alone) These are used shocks but have been regularly maintained and not subject to extreme skate park jumps or lots of mud. They are filled with 300cst oil in the rear and 400cst in the front. The 2 springs are for the rear and are the slightly softer variant. Price is £49.99 inc postage to UK.
  14. Sorry about that, please try now.
  15. Brand new. This came with my 3PV radio but is not needed as I already have a few receivers. Please see listing on eBay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Futaba-R203GF-2-4Ghz-Receiver-Electric-Or-Nitro-3-Channel-like-r304sb/164724409736?hash=item265a570588:g:k5cAAOSwK61gN-Ub

    SOLD

A set of proline Badlands tyres mounted on desperado 1/2 inch offset wheels. Tyres are like new with lots of tread left. PLEASE NOTE: 1 of the tyres is ripped along the inner edge and is most likely not repairable. Consider this to be a set of 3 good wheels/tyres. I would like £33 posted for the set.
