  1. Hi guys, welcome to the forum!! As Rusty says if you let us know exactly what your after we can provide more help, however a good place to start i would say is by hunting out a good roller. As discussed at the top of this page and the bottom of the last, the HotBodies Lightning Stadium Pro - R came as standard with the Ally arrms etc and the HBLSP2 came with all the graphite parts ans some Ally bits that are on mine detailed below. Cant help on this unfortunatly as i either use the pull start, which has never let me down, or my starter box. Someone will have the answer for you shortly i'm sure.
  2. Funnily enough that's where they were all day lol
  3. Yeah the Pro 2 has the 7075 chassis and lots of other shiny and graphite part's as standard, all of which are on my Trophy Truggy! It's annoying me now as i thought i knew about all of them and the hop-up's!
  4. They are both Pro-R's I think, they came standard with the ally wishbones and the doubled up brakes, still can't find the brace though, someone must know lol!! http://www.hpieurope.com/piw.php?lang=en&partNo=66200
  5. Hi guys Wonder if anyone could shed some light on this for me please...... Been trawling around the forum and found a couple of Lightning Stadiums with what looks like a carbon brace from the upper steering plate to the diff holder, does anyone know what this is exactly, a part number or where i can get one from? Thanks
  6. Hello mate, Welcome to the forum. Things are a bit quiet at the moment what with this glorious weather we are having, but there are still guys out from time to time. Spring and Summer we will all be hitting it hard again. Bashing and race tracks with a great bunch of guys, always a great laugh. Really can't wait for the weather to change!! Aaron
  7. Read the front page if your interested in doing the HPI 17mm upgrade or if you let me know if it's front or rear i'll check tomorrow to see if i have a spare, definately have a spare standard rear. Thanks Deafty was just looking for your write up to post link lol!
  8. Do you mean these and if so was it Front or Rear? http://www.hpiracing.co.uk/piw.php?partNo=101181 http://www.hpiracing.co.uk/piw.php?partNo=101182
  9. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year guy's!!
  10. If it was anything like mine, you'll be lucky to have much oil in there at all!! I run CoreRC 400cst Front and 350cst Rear (40f & 35r), I find it works well on the track, however if im bashing i do add another large spacer to the rear's. As stated before it is trial and error, find what your more comfortable, that goes for the Diff oils too, most people go for Medium Thick Thin for example mine are CoreRC 5000cst Front, 7000cst Middle, 3000 cst Rear. This might help, something Deafty posted a while ago!!
  11. These http://www.hpiracing...?partNo=HB24501, although i never had problems with the originals, lucky i guess!! Only place that seems to have stock http://www.hotbodiesonline.com/products/en/hb24501.html
  12. Lol, sorry mate just winding you up, knew what you meant.
  13. Your not saying you ran your truggy for 2.5 hours constantly and only used 2 tanks are you, surely i've miss read that?
  14. Hey Deafty, Didnt reply before as i'm not 100% sure on the answer however as far as i am aware the only difference is the amount of teeth and according to this site the diff's can be used in the buggy or truggy. Smaller Spur may need a bigger pinion to reach but i dont think there will be that much in it to be honest. Looking at the HPI site the buggy and truggy diff mounts are very different in design. http://www.hpiracing.co.uk/piw.php?partNo=101168 http://www.hpiracing.co.uk/piw.php?partNo=101011
  15. Yeah it is 46T in a buggy. And i agree, bigger esc is better, more options and as you say 5s is enough, 6s is bonkers but such great fun!!
  16. No worries mate. Shock wise I never had any problems with the stock shocks and with regards to oils personally I have 45 front and 40 rear at the moment, its a set up that works for me. I use it for bashing at a BMX track with some very big jumps. Everyone will probably have different feedback as it is personal preferance and dependant on how or what you use it for. There are some guys on here that have changed the shocks or even upgraded to double up the shocks. Feel free to ask any questions, good freindly bunch on here with a lot of experience in the Trophy's and Hot Bodies Lightning Stadium 2 Pro's, although i would say it's worth trawling through the previous post (painful as it may be) as there is a lot of very useful imformation in there.
  17. You just need to make them, i have: 1) Tamiya to bec. 2) Tamiya to Glow Starter. 3) Tamiya to Transmitter.
  18. I use the Fusion NX84 Sprint to charge my Hump Packs and Tranmitter (not at the same time): http://monarchmodels.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_21&products_id=475 Dont know how they compare though, sorry!
  19. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item564f06a9b9 http://www.modelsport.co.uk/prolux-easy-glow-supply/rc-car-products/23073 This is the charger i use and this is my glow Starter, change the connectors on the starter to banana plugs, fit some terminal posts to the starter box case and wire to the battery, simple!
  20. Hey Deafty, SMD starter box all the way!! I have had no issues with mine, even turns over new engines with relative ease, I run mine off this type of battery http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NP7-12-12v-7Ah-Ultramax-Lead-Acid-Rechargeable-Battery-Replaces-NP6-12-NP8-12-/110919146076?pt=UK_ConsumerElectronics_Batteries_SM&hash=item19d34bda5c but will be changing to 4s Lipo soon, feels like you could start a 1:1 car with the lipo in!!!
  21. How on earth did you manage that, I've been looking for ages!!
  22. You can't not order them at that price!! (Now..... When is my pay day?) I was going to just cut the shock mount down below the row of 2 bolt's and nut, hoping that would be enough to support it, do you think that would work or would it not be strong enough??
  23. The only thing i would say is, yes T-Bones are more expensive but the ones on my Losi 8ight Te have been replace free of charge twice now with their lifetime warrenty, just send them a pic and they send you a new one!!! Soon to be three times as the screws have torn through the holes! My mud guards are the D8T's, my drill was shot when i got them so cabletied them on, that was 8 months ago and they haven't come off yet! Will drill and bolt them though if (when) i decide to do the double up shock uprade!!
