  1. lol maybe not quite scale looks as far as realistic vehicles go but still look cool with a rear exit on it lol.. personal preference tho. ye av saw the little silicone pipes... not really my cup of tea tbh dude.
  2. hey the reason i was wanting to do a rear exit is plain and simple tbh lol i like the look of a rear exit as its more realistic, also my other reason was to save all the smoke and fuel that comes out of the exhaust isnt then covering half of the shell and car plus am not getting it all over the wheels and tyres aswell. and thanks people for the help
  3. hi people are there any rear exit exhausts on the market for the trophy truggy? i really want one. if not then how could i go about making one? i keep seeing people with real looking exhaust back boxes fitted to nitro drift cars like the rs4 etc... but i dont know where i could find one that would look like a jap style exhaust and ontop of that i dont even know how i could fit it. if it would maybe be a case of modifying the manifold to come straight out the back and use tubes and pipes to make it fit or what. does anyone have any ideas or help pleaseeeee lol
  4. cheers my doddy and the rest of u... plenty of usefull help soo far... i think i probs will upgrade the steering servo.. iv saw some videos and there are noticeable differences in response and sharpness etc.. i think i will upgrade to alloy for the bits that are needed the rest that are just for look like arms i wont bother i cant be bothered with more bits getting broke because of them lol
  5. lmao ohhhh so unless you want to have a shelf queen then dont touch them. basically they just like oooobber nicee and shinny but thats about it. thanks people. so what advise would you say about arms etc then is there any stronger ones on the market or are the standard ones more than good enough? what about knuckles etc are they worth changing for all the alloy stuff? one thing i have been thinking about... i was advised to change the steering servo on the truggy, i was told that it lacks in torque to turn the truggy as sharp as it really should turn. is this true and if so what recommendations do all you people have for me? aswell as other parts thanks oh sorry for having no pic up yet i keep trying to upload a pic and it keeps telling me that my pic is too large lol so i will get around to getting one that uses less kb's so it will upload lol
  6. awesome people thanks... and how come the alloy arms are sooo bad lol. and cheers al look forward to having a look at the links for exhaust etc
  7. ooooooo forgot to mention i have also fitted one of the 12 led light kits to my shell already and wired it all into the servo and it looks awesome and works really well... when i accelerate the side lights and head lights come on, when i turn left the left indicators come on and etc etc... it works really well and am sooo happy haha.. sounds rather sad but hey hoe lol.. anyway 6 views soo far and no comments yet boo lol can someone help me please thanks
  8. hi people really sorry to bother everyone i recently bought a trophy truggy 4.6 and i have slowly started doing things to it. i have now come to a point where i am lost lol. i have replaced the air filter with the byron double air intake thing, its huge and looks cool and seems to do a gd job. i have also replaced the wheels with a set of ansman racing chrome 6 spoke things the look awesome and a great size aswell bigger than the original standard wheels. i wont to replace the manifold and exhaust but i dont know what make also what ones fit to the trophy truggy? i was wondering if some of the ones for like the savage fit etc and if any are interchangeable? what i really want to do is fit a rear exit exhaust for the truggy but i dont know if it is doable or if i can just buy one or need to make one up myself? on top of this my main issue is bottom and top arms for the front and rear grrrrrr i want to replace them for purple alloy ones i have the purple heat sink head etc on my trophy and like the colour scheme so would like to replace as much as possible with all the purple stuff and i also want to fit a 3 shoe clutch a flywheel ... is this easily done? and where can i get the stupid top and bottom front and rear arms from? i cant find them anywhere lol. am i just stupid and cant find them or are they difficult? also can people also suggest other things to replace on my truggy thanks... oh and also shocks and springs i want stiffer ones where can i get them also preferabbly in silver and purple. thanks people
  9. heeey people how come i cant get into the chat... it doesnt let me in there to speak to people... also how gutting... the one way bearing in my trophy truggy has died and i also need a new glow plug... so yes norco i will be after a couple of those os8 plugs and some other spares lol... am getting annoyed with the rotostart system its breaking my car lol... so upgrades it is and fix aswell then get playing again i hope
  10. thanks... is there people on here selling things for them
  11. heeey thanks norco... where can i get the glow plug from.. haha ok i will stick with the plastic arms lol... i want to know what to upgrade... i have been looking at a nice edit exhaust and manifold also a couple nice air filter... i also want to fit a fuel filter, change the shocks and springs aswell... then whatever else i can do
  12. awesomeeeee people you are all legendary lol... its always good to have people to ask about problems... yes the trophy truggy was running amazing when i started it up and went straight away so obv it doesnt like being sat idle lol.... so thanks for that ziggy.. also i have just had the 2 glow plugs die of death haha so they were obviously on there way out lol... so i will get some new glow plugs and have it sorted... i was looking at some o'donnel racing sport glow plugs, can anyone tell me if these ar any good and how good they will be in both the truggy buggy and bullet lol.. and to top things off grrrrrrrr the one way bearing in the trophy truggy has died all thanks to the roto start... sooo not impressed... i have been advised to change it to pull start. would that be a good thing? apparently the roto starts can be a little bit harsh on the one way bearings thanks to all who have helped me does anyone have any other ways of contact incase i need to drop a quick email or text lol... just incase i have more queries lol... things never seem to go well for me..... oooooooooooooooooooooooo lastly is there anywhere i can find alloy bottom arms etc for the trophy truggy? i want to get rid of the plastic ones and upgrade as i want to do some hardcore jumps etc lol and atleast i cant break alloy bottom arms for the front and rear as easy as the plastic ones haha... thanks people
  13. hi people sorry to bother you all i am rather new to all of this and bought 2 second hand cars both only just run in... i have a trophy buggy 3.5 also have trophy truggy 4.6 and bullet mt 3.0 the trophy truggy has the roto start system on it and the other 2 have pull starts... now on sunday after i bought both of the cars on saturday i decided to get them up and running, but all went no according to plan lol... at first i couldnt get the truggy to start after some messing it eventually did and exceded me expectations, it was soo fast, then i went to use the bullet here we had a hugeee problem, it would start with a lot of effort untill the engine was het up i did fully lubricate it i got enuff fuel through so it would start but not flood. i pulled the cord about 4 times.. each time i tried to get it started, when it was heat up it was easy to start... so ok it was hard at first to start but thats kool lol, my problem was i couldnt get it to rev past about quarter throttle as it kept cutting out... i have tried needle settings on both high rev and low rev and cant find a problem... is it being starved of fuel for high revs and cutting out... would this be due to the carb being blocked from sitting for a while or something... please help on this problem extremely gutted.... second problem... when i went back to use the truggy after having it running for about 10 minutes... while i was finishing off puting the bullet back together i left the truggy running... when i went to use it a just touched the throttle and it cut out, now i cant start it... i have tried with a couple different glow starters but i dont know if maybe they had went very low in power and didnt have enuff left to start the trophy truggy or if there is something else wrong with it... but it was running extremely well and now it wont do anything... does anyone have any suggestions on both matters... Thanks Allan
