Thanks for the offer stretch but we have gone for a brushless upgrade ! Fitted it last night an we were hoping to test it today.trouble is its not waterproof .

we are still keeping an eye on this thread and would like to see you guys again soon . my lads car is waiting for a new motor which will hopefully come today,if we are fixed and the weathers ok we will be up for sunday .

hi hufty we havent found any lumps or bumps around our way.we just use the local football pitch and ramps. otherwise we have tried the parks in ipswich .

Hi guys, we are still keeping an eye on this thread.we've both had car trouble and had a busy summer doing other stuff but hope to have the cars sorted very soon. we would like to meet up again and catch up with you all soon. Evmk you are right there is more time in fixing and problem solving than bashing but we keep learning.

hi hufty ,its good to hear of other iocal suffolk bashers. I am also new to this and slowly learning by my mistakes.my son has a maverick strada and ive a mt4a sledgehammer , we are in lavenham . stretch, whats happened to the ipswich/suffolk bashers thread ? it would be good to see you guys again,

hi guys .thanks for your advice , cleaned the esc and its improved but still not right so ordered a replacement . on the transmission on closer inspection i found a missing tooth on the fwd/rvs gear so ordered one of those aswell .(must remember to use my glasses ! ) thanks again

its a 540 22t brushed motor.

now trying to sort my sons maverick strada intemittant stop and start problem . taken the esc apart and its dirty and a little corroded , is there any way to clean it or is it new one needed? It seems to be shorting out when you move the battery connection wires . If it has to be replaced do i swap like for like or can you reccomend a cheeper or better replacement ? thanks

hi guys . it was good to see you all again on sunday , when is the next time ? great pics and vid stretch and not sure i can maintain your high standard but i will give it a try if you want some shots of your cars. did anyone hear the metalic clunk when accelerating in my s50 ,just striped the transmission again and cant see anything broken , however as a noobie i am not quite sure what i am looking for ? any ideas will be helpful .

hi guys it was good to see you all again today. Thanks for all the advice and help with tuning my s50. now to be brave and take the gear box apart and see whats going on ! great pics stretch.
