Hi,
I'm new to r/c! I understand that you glue tyres to wheels, but then how do you change the tyres to a different type or compound? do you have to have a set of wheels per tyres or is there a method for unglueing tyres?
I've found these maximizer beadlock wheels
0 offset White Beadlock System Pair w/17 mm hex part number SKU: 1720
Any one used them? it saves glueing the tyres to the rims.
Hi,
I'm going to fit 17mm hex to my revo and looking for wheels that will fit.
Does anyone know if proline velocity 2690 will fit without problems hitting arms etc.
Anyone run 17mm hex, if so what wheels do you run?
So what do you recommend..staying with standard wheels and tyres?
I originally thought go for the lightest wheels (velocity I think) to lighten up drive system.
Ive seen the ofan 17mm hex, I like the pin system rather than the 23mm proline which use the original wheel nut.
Question for RCSammy (or anyone who know's the answer);
I would prefer to go to 17mm hex wheels rather than 23mm, but proline only make one standard size revo wheel (wabash) with a standard offset and thats with a 23mm hex. I dont want to change the dynamics of the car by changing the offset of the wheel from standard. Do you know a 17mm hex wheel in a standard revo size that 40 series tyres will fit on?
At the moment I'm still new to rc's but I think the racing scene has its attractions so I want to set my revo up with that in mind, even so I won't turn down a bit of bashing!
