Oh ok then, i was wrong. I was mixed up.
  2. TBH, i got my K4.6 with my savage and its had about 15 liters through it and it spends i would say 70-80% of its life on full throttle and it's is still going *touches wood* i mean yeah it was a kit but they must really be crap engines for that to keep happening. But at least u had fun, why not buy a better engine next time something reliable ?

    Bye For now....

Well i am going away for three weeks, 8days in France and then about 2 weeks in Devon, so have fun without me and don't all argue !!! Not been on a right lot recently anyway as i seem to have grown a social life ! Where did that come from Anyway am off beach bashing in Devon, so I'll be posting some pics maybe a video if i get chance. Sin (Jamie)
  6. I think it depends if you want to really understand how your car works, for example i had a Rush Evo for my first car and yes i kinda understood it but because it came built i just started running it whereas with the savage i know exactly which bit does what, how it goes in etc becuase i put it there. Theres a difference between getting a rtr and running it becuase nearly anyone can do that, whereas not everyone can say yeah u built that from a box of parts. If i was gonna next buy a nitro it would be rtr but it would no way be as big as savage because it took me a good 12hours, i would like something like a hellfire, something thats not really as big. I used to take my savage to bits all the time after i built it, just when i got bored but now i just many run it and don't bother taking it to bits, don't think theres much point unless u know that you need to make sure something has not broke etc.
  7. thats one messed up theory ! Maybe it can transport ppl back in time to 2006 and it is advertising this film so ppl will use it to go back and watch it becuase we all missed it and think its an amazing film Or maybe its just broke.......
  8. thanks for saying that, i just thought i was the only one who didn't ? How much do u have to have spent to get one ? Or does everyone with account get it ?
  9. every hyper st i see i want, they look really nice !!!
  10. if u go for the hyper st i would wait until next month for the hyper st pro Will be a better car, and all the stuff that needs updating will have been changed etc......
  11. u can get the normal ones i think, i am looking for a set for my savage as i am going to be beach bashing in about 3 weeks. Quick question does anyone know how long liquid rc take to post stuff or it takes to arrive ??
  12. well i am off to France in 2 weeks and my auntie (she lives there) says they have thunderstorms every night cannot wait Gonna take loads of photo's or maybe just videos as i don't thin I'll be fast enough with the cam and it don't have a change able aperture rate
  13. yeah you should only pull it out about 6-8 inches, anymore and ure running risk of snapping the spring or straining it.

    Nitro fuel.

best to brake it in on 25% cos then u can always run lower amounts whereas if u ran it on 16% u would not meant to run anything else on it, i have had 25% through my K4.6 for about 10 liters, now i am near the end of using 20% and tbh i have not seen much difference except the fact that O'Donnell's fuel is alot more oily than tornado.
  15. yeah i had that problem with my savage u need to make sure there tight but not too tight, u will need some thread lock on them so that there not too tight but they still stay in the back of the engine. Best thing to do is tighten the three that are not near the pull cord and and leave the crew next to where the cord come out a bit slack compare to the others, but not loose enough so the screw will fall out. Hope this helps

    Gone Gas

looks good just need an engine now, nitro is the way forward U'll get used it, and once you smell nitro fuel u'll be hooked, every time i go into my garage all you can smell is fuel and its addictive......
  17. yeah was thinking about that but with water, does anyone know how to remove that like dark brown much stuff that stains exhausts ? i mean brasso does it well but it takes ages !!
  18. there must be some noise surely ?
  19. Well this has been caused by a combination of loose screws, savage chassis instead of savage x chassis, and exhaust being really close to the car: Made a right mess of my car, but i am getting another exhaust for free off a mate its pretty much the same as this but it came with his truckzilla savage so i don't really know if i will see a increase or decrease in performance we will have to see, anyway got a new handle/roll bar looks better than the other plastic one
  20. thats a 21. engine, am not too sure about them best to make a new thread asking for advice for one cos tbh i only know my big block engines
  21. Sin

    i passed

    what is it a 125 ??
  22. yeah mines a beast, gets front end up in air. There not the fastest of big blocks but there bloody quick
  23. yeah should be, it took my mates a while to start working but that had the opposite problem it was not shifting up.
  24. well there is a small line inside the grub screw hole, it might be quite hard to see. Have you looked inside the 3 speed to make sure everything looks ok nothing loose etc as it maybe broken ?
  25. yeah 2 speed and 3 are the same principle just there 1 extra.
