Hi I brought the car with the mods. I’m now going round in circles. It looks like it has a big set of mod 1.5 gears. I’m going to buy the nearest To stock mod 1.5gear and fit a new max 5. And see how that goes I don’t have original motor and spur gear and Motor mount.

I did think about the deans. I will upgrade to xt90. Plus will sort the gearing and buy a new motor and esc. Any recommendations on gearing. Only use for bashing not worried about high speed. 👍🏻

Ok this is a new rig to me and only 2nd time out. It is bloody quick. It does have uprated gearing not to sure on tooth count. Will be checking it out now. So should I run a max 5 with the 5687 1100 Kv.

Hi guys just had The esc burn out. What do you think caused this. It’s running in a x maxx 8s. The esc is a max 6 and motor 5687. Many thanks stewart.
