  5. have to say that naza gps setup looks cool love the home lock setting very cool just seen a youtube vid of it
  6. i know mad isent it so silly just think how much money bbc could save if thay could use a quad with a cam then a jet ranger with a camraman lol id love to have the change if thay did lol
  7. id go with the 450 as you may need more lifting power and it will be better on windy days as for fpv setup if your going that way by law you have to have a buddy lead and a person ready on the next tx to take over as by law you have to have eyes on the model at all times as caa class a rc model plane as a unmaned small plane and if you have a autopilot unit thay class it as a drone silly laws ive just been doing some digging myslef as im going to be building one soon so if you go for a naza gps setup it will be classed as a small unmaned plane and a drone at the same time lol my head hurts reading up on all this lol
  8. naza,s are very good you can add lots to them but its just the cost its a killer if your just starting out in quads go for the kk at least then if you dont get the bug then you havent paid too much money into something thats not your thing
  9. looking very good im thinking of building a quad ive been looking at this one http://www.electriflite.co.uk/store/index.php/multicopters/frames/x4-600fa.html as for the kk control unit i think you got a good one for the money thay are very good and work well ive had a go at my friends tricopter he had the same kk unit but quads are better then tricopters my mate spent a long time getting it right due to the odd number of motors and then you have to use a servo to tilt the rear motor to get the yaw or rudder working right
  10. truggy wheels the rims look like lrp rims i dont see you haveing any bearing probs as truggys are the same as buggys just wider arms sometimes a longer chassis but not much in it
  11. fg marder anyday cheap to buy cheap to run and cheap to fix hpi 5b or 5t are just too much money for what thay are and thay are only two wheel drive two wheel drive anyway so why pay more for a car that isent that much more of a car the losi beast from what ive seen of them are very nice car well made runs well a bit under powered due to the size of the thing only bad thing i can say about it is the price tag best way to go if your dont want to spend too much is to go for a fg dont go for a clone 1/5 thay just dont hold up to much theres lots of shops that sell clones but wen you need parts back up thay aent so helpfull hope that helps i know there are people here that mite not like what ive said about hpi bajas but lets face it thay cost more and at the end of the day you may find that 1/5s are not your cup of tea at least with a fg you havent dumped ton of money into it and have something you can sell on with out droping too much money
  12. well thay cant just sell a allmost ready to run only in 4 wheel drive and let you buy a bag of bits to mod a gas powered car thats silly
  13. if thay go for 550 /600 for a two wheel drive i can see them selling very well much better then hpi i dont know about youguys but i think hpi has lost its way thay made the 5b and 5t over the top for most people too meny things to go worng at least with fg you can get parts cheap and theres less to go worng with them i can see me getting one soon if thay turn out as good as all the gas models thay do
  14. thay are the 4wd tho a two wheel drive would be more in line with what a new gas powered marder would cost going by that
  15. if the price is right id have one i love the idea of 1/5 battery powered just the cost puts most off with the likes of hpi want over 1000 pound for a car that you have to buy upgrades just to make it work like its ment to not hard to see why people arnt jumping for joy if fg pull it off and can do it cheaper then hpi you will see a lot more of them at your next bash
  16. well wen you take the engine out of an fg theres not much left so maybe a 150 amp esc is up for the job
  17. rpm range i bet will be somewere in the range of 1000 to 8000 rpm at most cdi units dont go higher then that as thay use a magnet for the timeing
  18. david

    Hobao H2 2wd buggy

if its as good as a hyper 7 bashing wise i can see it selling very well as two wheel drive is more fun to drive
  19. id love to this kind of engine on a mta4 or lst the two best trucks going
