exactly what i plan to do, I have been looking at Dust tactics as well. that's looking sweet Cyber/steam punk WW2 table top war game......nice. I think i may also modify the original idea to make it more fast paced. I'm thinking of basing the corridor sections on basic 50mm wide balsa wood. keep it very simple & cheap should be funky

Yeh mate i was in love with the Inquisitor stuff 54mm rocks especially with the conversion possibilites. Also the lack of rank & file dudes there was no boring painting to do. but i've been looking & things are not looking good for the 54mm figures, it looks like it has been side lined. Yeh i remember a Space hulg game comming out but for some reason their stabs at films/games always seem to come out & look cheap & crappy budget stuff......shame as they have a wealth of story & background that i think would translate well to a Games/Films. Saying that i was playing the Space Marine Demo on Xbox last night & it looks great fun. I loved the Emperors Wrath rampage thing.....extremely good way of getting rid of stress. lol yeh guilty there, although ive been spending more time on the Bass & less on the Xbox so i do have more time on my hands nowadays ....woohoo! evenings are all mine mu ha ha ha ha ha A chance of doing some painting in short burst's is very doable which is what i'm aiming at.

Love the battlefield gothic ships mate. I'm liking the specialist stuff GW have done, less minatures gets you out playing quicker rather than spending weeks hunched over a desk just to play your first game. I did get into Inquisitor though the 54mm minatures were fantastic to paint. Yeh mate the Space hulk one would have to be with minatures as i loved painting the terminators.....the Genestealers were a right old pain as i get very bored painting rank & file lol I'll see if i can dig out some of the old stuff i may have tucked away somewhere & post em up.

Awww nice mate well done on the win I used to paint minatures (Games workshop, 1:35 WW2 & Rackham Stuff) i have been thinking of getting a copy of spacehulk to play with my son & it give me a chance of getting back into painting some minatures. I havent painted in years to be honest but would love to find the time & get back into it
  9. Hi guys i'm confused again. I'm trying to find a 540 brushed motor that will handle a 8.4v power pack. I ordered a LRP GT4 Turbo 19x2 but i'm still waiting on stock (Two weeks now & no news) so am looking for an alternative, i have a Nitrotek bugcrusher for general buzzing around a field with my son, i can go to 12t with the ESC. and my gearing (i think) is 11:1 Can anyone help me ? as i am getting lost in this world of too many choices I'm confused about many things lol but what i would like to know is why LRP GT4 19x2 ok with up to 9.6v where as all the rest of the range only capable of 7.4v max ???
  10. Yeh that would be classic lol
  11. lol it's the only internet time i get, I'm studying for my motorbike test so every night i'm on the pooter boring myself to death with that annoying Hazard perception test......grrrrrrrrr God any smaller & it would be more fiddly than putting a new motor in a Bug crusher.........nearly though
  12. Yeh i think it's very sad that these amazing skills are comming to an end. I would love to learn these skills & knowladge but unfortunately old school skills are not as valued as they once was. In the company i work in we have an old school engineering department, i sometimes ask them a for favours & they will make me something like a bike security anchor. the workmanship is always outstanding & much better than you can buy in any shop. it really is a shame
  13. He has a lot of time on his hands, it would be impressive if you could put it in an RC car....the sound would be nice to hear
  14. My god......i know people who have an amazing eye for detail but the workmanship of this is stunning
