I was going to suggest skyrc, I think they do top notch chargers.
My last charger was the skyrc d400.
-
That is correct.
Do you think you will charge more than one lipo at a time or only one?
Reason I ask is because you can just get a dual charger, that way you can charge 1 lipo at a different settings to the other.
-
With most chargers you won't get the lipo/battery wire that goes to the charger, need need to buy one.

hello and welcome mate 🙂

Forehead, lol.
I assume that's not exactly what you meant, but in general, with a GoPro you get an elastic strap to strap it to your forehead. Looks a bit daft, but works well.
i did feel bit silly when i was walking around like that but i got used to it.

you have got one of those that is a horn and a servo saver in one. just looked at the video and to me, it seems like its catching.
could you try making the rod longer then reseat the horn again?

have you tried taking the horn off the servo to reset it then put the horn back? does the problem still persist?

Where do you mount the go pro on your head?
yes, i have always used my copy gopro mounted on my head. i found that easier than on my handset.

yes, the wheels should center itself when you let go the wheel on the controller. it sounds like either the servo saver or the servo itself.
have you got another servo you can test it with?

Hey Froggy
is that great minds think alike or fools seldom differ
yep great minds mate 🙂

I have to fill in an RMA which involves attaching the receipt, which I can get but it's not going to be in my name.
Does a 12 month warranty cover the product even if the product has been given/sold on to someone else or not?
I need to be careful here or I feel I'm going to be getting shafted over a very expensive ESC and motor!
i can imagine it will be fine if you put your mates name in the form as stormbringer suggested too.

Could you not fill in an RMA with your mates name ?
Or maybe get him to do it ?
i was going to suggest his friend to fill it out too.

That's funny - I have a bearded pal, also called AJ, and loves his RC cars, but not the same person. 🤣
😄 what a coin-ka-dink!

I once seen a white van with AJ written on it and i mentioned this to AJ on here and he told me its a common name. i knew it wasnt him but at the time it was funny 😄

The Losi mini 8ight-t is such a hard RC to find certain upgrade parts for nowadays. I guess its becoming obsolete in the RC world. Need help locating upgrade parts such as the Exotek #1688 Big bore motor mount and any other rare or hard to find parts here in the US would be greatly appreciated. Please help
managed to find these:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175649526094?hash=item28e587114e:g:0o4AAOSwIpJjErI6
i know its not motor mounts but they are still exotec parts for the mini 8ight incase you might need them.

That's what the airline is for. I live nowhere near the coast so it will only see sand on the odd UK holiday. The model was a free download so I've only had to pay for the bearings which were was £17 from China.
Direct drive is 100% the way forward however I've only got a single gentry so unless I get a pancake stepper motor. I've ordered another TPU so hopefully that will help.
Ah yes, the hose line, that will make cleaning up alot easier.
But from what I have read, it gets inside the diffs too.

Sand, plus they look pretty cool.
Bowden however I've got Capricorn PTFE tube, printing a small block with a gap I got rid of all stringing and the part looked good. When I went to print the tracks it looked rubbish and left a lot of gaps. The main issue is that the section between the teeth is only one wall thick, this also lead to a few issues.
i agree, they do look good.
but taking it on sand, hhmmm....... will need a full strip down afterwards though.

I would try invest in a decent charger if you think you will stay in the hobby, it will pay itself.
