  1. Don't know yet, as I'm going go karting sometime tomorrow. I'll need to get back to you later with a time, probably in the morning.
  2. Yeah brilliant bash, may go back tomorrow. Broke nothing for once but receiver battery ran flat...
  3. That's cool with me, I'll leave after lunch so I should be where 2:30 ish possibly a bit later.
  4. I'm thinking of going later today, just need to get my savage back together first.
  5. That's quite close to me, have you got any directions. I'm very interested we should have a meet up there sometime.
  6. I used to run my tomahawk st on 25% optifuel race, later i used 30%. Hpi powerfuel is quite oily so massive smoke trails can be misleading making you think it's rich when the opposite is true.
  7. The plastic 1st gear inside the transmission stripped, I've not had this happen before. But it's a cheap and easy fix new gear order will take it out next weekend. As long as the rear diff is serviceable after a rebuild since it's a bit grouchy, I think it may just be a failed bearing though so we'll see.
  8. Yeah it was quite wet, but I've run in worse. I took 2 cars with me and decided not to run electric in the end due to non-waterproofed electronics. I ran my nitro savage since it's waterproof (up to a point obviously can't submerge it as water is non-compressible and will/would total the engine if ingested). It needs a rebuild I think now, since the rear diff clicks occasionally and the transmission has failed twice in 2 runs. Last time gear 3 divided it would like to be in around 15 pieces and this time at least the idler gear are totalled.
  9. Been and just come back, it's not to muddy had to leave early though as the transmission decided to fail again.
  10. I'm just leaving, it's going to rain/drizzle all morning so I may not stay long if it's to muddy.
  11. Yeah, I intend to carry on using my current power supply it's rated @ 47 amps @ 12.5v roughly 570w which is more than enough for what I need. This looks about right: http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__12105__HobbyKing_8482_ECO6_10_200W_10A_6S_Bal_Dis_Cyc_Charger_w_acc_.html 400w total should be enough, since I'll carry on using the icharger.
  12. Hey Guys I'm looking to buy a new charger since my current charger (Icharger b106+ 200w) isn't really cutting it anymore. I've done quite a lot of research over the past few weeks and have considered an icharger b206, skyrc b6 200w x2 charger. I wonder if anyone has had any good experiences with other chargers. Ideally wattage wise I'd like it around 400w (ideally with 2 outputs of 200w each) since I have a 670w psu and that means I can use both chargers simultaneously. User experiences of chargers would be greatly appreciated. Thank in advance.
  13. I'm going out @ 11-30am so I need to be back by 11am unfortunately.
  14. I'm coming here tomorrow morning if anyone wants to come along? Quite early around 8-9 am.
  15. Can't see myself going for a few weeks as the oil pump in my golf decided to let go at motorway speeds (4000rpm) engines lunched. Will update when a new engine in sourced/ new car bought .
  16. Anyone about tomorrow possibly in the evening when it's not to hot??
  17. Nice one I got about 4/5th's of a tank through my baja before the shock seals (rear) blew out . Think I also killed the clutch spring (it engages to early, doing 30 seconds of doughnuts does tend to heat the clutch up a little so...) CBA replacing the clutch spring, will just fix the shocks and run it again tomorrow.
  18. Just come back from a light bash and omg was it HOT, I fell like I've just melted lol. Next time I'm going to try and find some shade. 3 sound fine, I'll probably get there ate 3:15-30. Thanks Edit: admiral your s5 will love this place , nice and bumpy.
  19. Hi I'm heading off for a quick bash with my new savage, just to test it really. What time are you thinking later this evening? Thanks
  20. Congrats on getting your savage up and running, I've bust the front diff one of my savage's (my favorite on anyway). However I got my baja fixed (damaged a wheel yesterday), I'm also around all weekend. When/what time you thinking?
  21. Not if you go to the purple springs (I'm guessing that he has the pre 2014 xl which has 8 shocks), and up the shock oil weight. I run my savage with no spacers, 45wt shock oil and it never bottoms out, it also rolls over much less.
  22. Have you removed the pre-load spacers that clip onto the shock body you can lower it somewhat by getting rid of those. Thanks
  23. I own an s50 and a couple of xl's, the xl's are the better truck but that's not to say the s50 isn't up to much it's also a great truck it just doesn't handle the rough stuff at high speeds as well (it tens to bottom out and wallow around to much). It also lacks some serious top end which is a shame. I'd get the s50 if I were you (you already have an xl), you won't be disappointed they are completely different to drive. The s50 is much cheaper so I don't feel so bad driving till the wheels fall off. Thanks
  24. I'm gunna leave in 5 mins, as the traffic has lightened up I'll be there at 7:40 I think.
