    ok well a LOT is down to personall preference, but it seems like you want to go the scale looking route, in which case i would recommend the scx. you can get loads of upgrades and add ons, bodys, the lot

    dude, my dog dont need nothing round it she has bit straight through mine a few times,lol, but yea go 4wd, maybe better if you can to put a faster motor and esc in depending on the dog your training, labs, pointers etc just so you have the speed if you need it,

    Yes of course sorry, right get two ( i use metal or wood rulers) drill holes in them and mount your axles in where you want them, you can then measure and make(ahem) the links, and or shafts

    Yep sure you can do that, not sure of sizes of hand but im sure i used comp crawler shafts before, for an inch or so each end, check yors and see if that would work

    It doesnt usually need to stick up, can if you want a bit, sometimes helps if you get a poor signal, but most of the time ok just under the hood

    I got a b6 charger, not expensive but a real good charger

    You can pick em up for like 25 quid, and if youre using a proper charger theres no prob really, if you overcharge a nimh itl do the same thing

    You gotta go lipo then mate you dont want to extend the fronts, itl mess up the crawling, rears only

    Ok let me re phrase this,lol, i will make the links, ah, still no need to make the front longer, make a tray or if you can just zip tie the battery onto the steering servo, or go saddle pack lipo as they are smaller and will mount on your front top links

    Simon, the usual way to extend would be to extend the rear, giving a 40/60 split, in most cases this will require you to make the links

    well i have one for sale in the sale threads and the build here if youre interested, the crawl quite well, not as good as a dedicated crawler of course, but then they are general off roaders as well
