yep a panel of say 8 people would work, used it before very well, i would say let the forum vote on either using a panel or just mass forum vote

dunno what to do? got my summit today, none of my batterys fit it, or they arent good ones(just for the kids rc,less power) now it has a hk150 amp esc and a 1900kv brushless, do i find lipos with the cables coming out the ends like a standard nimh? or just buy 2 8.4 nimhs or do i install my evx2, change the motor to a titan 775 an buy 8.4 nimhs, or the same lipos and a couple of becs? to me at the moment it seems 50/50

looks good mate, if it were me i would add a touch of colour to it, maybe a green or something or a few decals, looks kinda plain in a way, think it needs to stand out a bit more

man, both our kids had one of those, and kids hit stuff, and they broke as quick as 2 days! the first one when back the same day as the electrics whent up in smoke, literally. to be honest the only one of those cheap toy grade ones that are still running is a buggy we bought from littlewoods for about 10-20 quid

my boys 4 and 6 have a master smacker and a maverick strada mt, they both love them and the strada is great off road, thats the 4year olds one, he's actually the better driver, great control of speed. we would never go the maplins or like route again as they are really not worth it, they had that one as well, and even though its reduced its crap

really nice idea fella, and congrats on doing it yourself, but what nitro says is very valid, whilst mod/admin on another site, i had to close a thread similar to that because of all the bickering. as for pics, it has to be (i think) 1 pic only per entrant, the thread is opened and each poster puts his pic in with no comments or he will be taken out the comp. the prize, as you say is done by you so fair play, maybe even modelsport vouchers?. block voting, not much you can do about it really, were all entitled to vote, not always fair but thats it. one other forum had a guy win an american comp as he got the forum here to all vote for him!! but good luck with it, like nitro says i dont take that many pics, i just forget, but ill do my best to post some, also if you need help just ask
