  1. Hi guys Most of you know im rednecks wife, ill not be there nye as one of us has to stay here with are guests, i will be comeing at some point tho, evan if its just to wind up hubby Will be nice to meet you lot,
  2. I think hes gona make a mold if it all works out right, he will have a lot to do before that, but its his little project so there is no rush. He did say that he would make them for outher people if it works but we shell see and its a orignal design unlike the production shells so it could sell well. So far its looking very good, hes got the t1 style pritty much perfect, with the high arches and inbuilt bonnet vent, totaly unique as fas as rc goes. Personly its not my style but when he runs our car he can use it.
  3. I bet if i gave that to hubby he would brake it within the week lol shame thay did not base it on losi 4x4 system and just make it look like a baja
  4. Yea that looks pritty crap, but you say that about belt drive, fg use belts on there 4x4 models, alltho a much bigger set up,belt cant be that bad if the fg boys use it. And the fg team has a lot of titles under there belt (lol) in europe. Plus some of the top end fg stuff comes in at around
  5. We just back from a quick afternoon bash in the woods ( that sounds wroung lol) leopard ran grate with no issues, but hubby was geting very cocky drifting around the trees (rednect29). But the steering servo play is geting worse, think a new one is needed.

  8. Does any one know were i can get a silencer that goes on the end of a tuned Pipe? i need to make it quiter
  9. I took my leopard out side earlyer and dam was it a ass to staft, new rings and gasket must have uped the compression, as my engine has no choke it took a while to get it to fire, in the end hubby had to lose off the spark plug a tiney bit to get it to fire up, Moan time I also got a gun type trans for it as im not a fan of stick, batterys all new,... But the car dont like it, the servos are twitching and play up when i turn, hit the gas...and i was told it would be ok, ill just keep it as a spare for outher cars, and get a top end trans and reciver.
  10. Yea defo im suprised hpi dont do that. i got it back this afternoon, after new rings, gasket etc the engine feels tighter on the pull start. So should be quicker Roll on sunday bash at dunwitch dunes
  11. For who eaver was asking, my leopard has twin steering servos, its turning curcle is tiney for a large scale.
  12. The bmx track on the park is used for bmx club raceing and thay do get funny about it, but the far end of the park away from the track is used for flying so thats were we go, ive had the police walk ova aswell as there has been issues with kids on motor bikes on the park and burning out cars there and nitro and petrol do sound like motor bikes but have had no issues at all
  13. Hi Me and hubby are ipswich, we use landseer park for nitro and petrol but well away from the bmx track as the kids are little nobs, The far end of the park is used for flying aswell, Monster trucks are grate in the woods at orwell country park, and petrol if you have sand tyres on the shore. You can use electric on hollywells park when its quiet, witch is pritty much my back garden lol We would be happy to meet up with you, pm either me or redneck29, we live about 10 walk mins form landseer park.
  14. Its fine as long as you dont leave it on to to long. Ive not had any issues. Oops dubble please delete

  16. I agree with what you are saying there, but there are things i think are a rip off on price are. : nitro fuel : lipo batterys But thay can charge high prices for them as thay know we need it and will buy them anyway
  17. I can see were hes comeing from here, some rc parts and defo some cars are very much ova priced, but if its a 1/9 scale witch is rare i can understand why its more pricey. All tho i agree
  18. Im kinda interested in what you all think is the best petrol make and model ouy there for bashing or raceing. My personal feeling is fg for raceing as the hpi baja b is longer and has a bigger turning curcle compaired with the fg For bashing ide prob say the hpi 5t as its hard as nails What so you lot think on this ? Was something me and hubby was yapping about while watching large scale raceing on you tube
  19. No ive not been in yet, will pop in for a lookie tho, ive used them for mail order tho and rang for advice a few times when hubby was not about. same as MS really, i would pop in there if i was eaver in the area. My local shop glaxey models are a good bunch of lads and are helpfull but as its a small shop there on shelf stock is limited, and thay are not a fg dealer either so for a lot of things i will have to mail order
  20. Next time i come up there to visit family im bring my leopard ^^ i wana see how well it will hill climb. And with all that space will be able to get it maxed out. And with WS models there aswell parts on onhand juat in case
  21. Ive not got one my self but ive been told by my local hobby shop that it is as i was haveing a look at one in there, the main up grade is the metal gearing, as the v1 im told had plastic from stock, outher than that its pritty much the same as far as i know. Still a big heavy beasty
  22. My hubby has a savage x its ok.. I feel that thay are ova rated. Thay are quick and pritty tough, but the MGT 8.0 is better
  23. Strip off electrics and. Cover im "Muck off" its awsom for geting rid of oily crap and dirt, as its a mtb cleaner its tire friendly..... Smells nice to I keep a watered down spray bottle of it in my kit bag for quick cleans and a 1ltr for strip down clean. Btw you can get it in halfords
