hi I haven't been on here for a while (been really busy) I went to switch my ax10 on and the esc is going mad , the thing beeps once then a load of red lights are flashing , I've tried to start again with it but nothing happens , anyone come across this ? thanks nenook

well folks Im back and OMG iwas right to start this thread , I visited Superior hobbies just outside of Orlando. the current exchange is 155 dollars to the pound , latest jc concepts shell 32dollars . , slipper gear 2.54 dollars just everything that we pay in pounds, is there in dollars enough said . nenook

aha but what I forgot to say was that when the grub screw came loose , the pinion gear shot forward , resulting in another stripped spur gear , this wll be the third one in 2 weeks , Ive gone from not knowing jack S , about slipper clutches , etc to being able to strip and rebuild one as im cooking tea . however one of our American brethrin has just mailed me this robinson racing's gen3 steel spur regards nenook

well here we go AGAIN , just been to my local engineering suppliers , I can buy 20 steel encased bearings for the same price as 4 plastic encased in my local model shop , just to put this into perspective ,, I am going diving soon so I needed an O ring for my under water camera ,

well Noj ive found a percentage of the problem , the pinion gear grub screw has had it even with lockite it isent holding down so one of those will be going on the shopping list , also those new bearings I fitted in the motor not 2 weeks ago are crap , not impressed , Ive ordered some steel incased ones from my local engineering suppliers , yes thats right my friend I can buy a pack of 20 for what the model shop are selling 4 for , refer to my rip off britain again !!!!!!!!, thanks for all your comments regards nenook

Noj mate this happend minutes after running it after being stripped cleaned oiled , changed bearings , a new slipper, short of shagging the thing Id say Ive looked after it really well , Ive joined an american site for short course (shortcourse.com) and someone on there has the same problem , just waiting to see what the replies are , il strip my donkey down tommorow. regards nenook

hi after one let down after another I have made a decision to start looking for a new truck and keep the slash as a reserve truck . I have looked at the losi , and now looking at the hpi apache flux sc or the apache flux c1 , and the new yet to be released coyote db , ( looks the DogsB's) although the db after the coyote stands for desert buggy , all comments welcome regards nenook

dont buy a slash if you dont want to repair it , it should be called FORD (fix or repair daily ) I know people have said theirs is great , and I do feel I might have bought the donkey out the bunch , but thats just opinion regards nenook
