    looks like list price is $60 in USA tower hobbies have it for $53

    I don't know hpi specifically, but you can over-tighten diffs and flatten the steel balls. So it's possible you've done that and need new balls. You could buy ceramic balls which last better.

    oops posted that before I read Garrys comments! As it happens I do have the carbon lower deck, although I haven't fitted it - I've been using the orignal style tub deck as per pic below. I don't really want to get into cutting that deck, or even (at the moment) fitting the carbon lower deck. So the hobbyking ones linked to above definitely won't fit? I'd just added four of them to my basket!! (haven't paid yet)

    the thing with lipo is I would need a new charger, and the batteries seem very expensive. Also I don't even know - would one pack be able to be used for a whole meeting? i.e. could it be charged up in time between races / heats? with nimh I can buy two packs for fifty quid and that's my total outlay. They'll do me (I'm not very fast!) for a few meetings http://www.modelspor...-products/38774 whereas lipo looks like £60-£70 for one pack? Plus a charger. thanks for any thoughts on the above ^

    I am getting back into racing rc cars this winter (tamiya TA04 touring car). I need new cells. Having trouble with websites / ebay finding decent cells. I used to make my own up from matched cells sold loose. Any recommendations? I don't mind pre-made. Just want good VFM I'm not the quickest out there
