  1. Check out the North London Bashers thread on here or on RCBashers bud. A load if us meet up every few weeks around North London, WGC or St Albans areas.
  2. I had a Nitro Revo 2.5 which was then hopped up & upgraded to a 3.3, then to a Picco 0.26 max so I know my way around the truck pretty well. That's what is tempting me to go for this at all. Also I have a fly sky 2.4ghz for my baja so could just get another receiver & use that. It's just the esc / motor / mount / batteries that I would have to sort. Is the E Revo much different to the Nitro?
  3. Hi all, A friend of mine bought a brushed E Revo when they first came out, used it half a dozen times, got bored & hasn't used it since. It's in mint condition as per the pics below so I'm thinking of buying it from him & converting it to brushless. Can anyone give me an idea firstly of what the truck is worth as is & secondly, what I would have to buy / do to convert it to brushless with an idea on the cost of the required equipment. I run a fully hopped up HPI Baja, have had a few Nitro's & used to have electrics years ago, but will be a complete newbie to brushless, although loads of the guys I bash with run brushless setups. Here are a few of pics of the truck.
  4. Don't expect them to last long bud, my last set lasted only 40mins before they wore through!
  5. As Yari mentioned, I'm in Welwyn Garden City bud so probably one of the closest to you. If I stick some tarmac tyres on my Baja I'd be up for some tarmac drifting action with you guys! Where do you run though? My Baja is a big & VERY noisy machine & as such needs to be somewhere big enough to run & noise tolerant ish.
  6. rdarsa, dont bother with a cheap cop-out on this. Both myself & nitroholic have tried multiple options, the RCR's are fantastic & the only way to go IMO.
  7. I bought my 30.5 prostock from Paul (Sonic) about a year ago & he did me a great deal then. I also contact OBR in the states for a bit of advice & they were totally helpful too.
  8. Still love my pipe! On my 30.5 OBR prostock it's fantastic, when I ran a Dom it was too much bottom end. I run in a variety of places from really tight wooded areas to the open field behind my house & its fine for me in all locations.
  9. God this is all a bit serious! Who's BB offended so badly anyway??
  10. rdarsa, Just a note that Baja's do not have a pressurised fuel tank like a nitro. If you are building pressure in the tank, especially enough to blow out the bung, it means that the breather hole in the fuel cap is blocked. If the hole is blocked it will run rough if at all buddy.
  11. Yup been lashing it down in WGC since about 6:30 am & still going!
  12. OK my Wife / PA decided to tell me this morning that she's organised a mortgage meeting for Saturday morning at 10:30! So hopefully I'll make it down after that if doesn't go on too long
  13. How are you getting there buddy as its a long way from any station! I might be able to pick you up from Hatfield or WGC. I also have an old un-cut dom that may be of use to you, but I think the rear bracket may need a quick repair.
  14. Where is everyone? Are you lost or lazy, coz I'm definitely lonely!
