  1. Hi all, looking to get back in to road cars but its been a while since I owned one and its changed abit. I'm no stranger to nitro as I have my Hong Nor buggy etc but I've always liked the cars more. I haven't got a lot of money to spend but have been offered a kyosho pureten alpha in near mint condition just wondering really what there like. Opinions appreciated.

  3. Hong Nor is way better than the Hyper but thats just me
  4. Where abouts in Southampton you based fella
  5. Compared to the Hong Nor the build quality feels very cheap, it just feels a far less quality. In general nothing wrong with it they are a good car but I like to hold something and it feels strong and capable of anything and I just don't get that with the Ansmann.
  6. I've got a Hong Nor X1CR which is awsome and a Ansmann Virus 2 which is nowhere as good in fact its going up for sale or swap soon lol. Hong Nor all the way.
  7. I've just had a flysky arrive from China took 2 weeks and no import duty. Best of all its bloody brilliant been putting buying one off for a while wish I hadn't now.
  8. Just got my first buggy a hong nor crx1 and was just wondering whats the best fuel percentage and also glow plug to use in it. I use os8 and 25% fuel in my savage but didn't know if they would be ok in the buggy.
  9. I managed to break my carb spring on the my Savage 25ss, anyone know where I can get one from as I don't seem to be able to see it on modelsport shop. Any help appreciated .
  10. Depends what your after, I have had a couple of T-Maxx's can't complain there's a few bits that need upgrading from factory but a dam good truck. The last one I had was 3.3 longer chassis and it was bloody good. I have just got my hands on a new Savage ( the first one I've ever owned) and again can't complain it looks a bloody good truck pprobably a bit harder to work on due to different layout more enclosed. I'd have either one. But if you do choose T-Maxx go for the 3.3.
  11. Not at the moment fella, I need the money for the whole lot asap as I have already found the Savage that I want.
  12. What sort of thing are you looking for, a car or a monster truck or a buggy etc
  13. Have a browse through the for sale section on here, I just so happen to have one for sale
  14. Hi all, I am selling my Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3 It is the extended chassis 4907 complete with 2.4ghz It has a new 3.3 engine which has been broken in and used a handful of times. To be honest it could with a little fine tuning but it is a great engine tonnes of compression. It also has RPM A-Arms, RPM bulkhead braces and also RPM shock towers and body posts although the body posts need to be replaced as they are worn. Underneath it has alloy front and rear skid plates. The wheels and tyres in the pic are the standard ones but I also have a set of RPM wheels in blue with Proline max mulcher tyres. It is a good car in good condition usual few scuffs but nothing major. Will also come with the Laandrover shell which is nice and strong also a bucket load spares. Due to the weight of the car and spares I would prefer collection but could post if required. Only selling as I am now converting to the HPI savage stable
  15. If you have after run oil you can use that or just a a squirt of wd40 will do the trick

Its a new 3.3 extended chassis 2.4ghz RPM everything almost and the RPM true trac but it keeps breaking the rear bulkheads and I'm just getting annoyed now. May just get a savage as never had any probs with them before, anyone want to swap LOL
