If you had an air leak it will run very hot. Once you have sealed the engine and eliminated all leaks try again. Whilst it's ticking over keep turning hsn anti clockwise and notice if temp starts to come down. Breaking a can be a pain in arse. We've all been there. But there's plenty of people here willing to offer help/advice.
If your engine ain't tuned to the optimum a starter box is easier. If you've tuned your engine well pulls are easier. 1-2 pulls and off you go. Jammin jp 4's are supposed to be good.
This is the rtr fuel nitroholic advised you don't used. This is the stuff he's on about. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/optifuel-optimix-race-25-nitro-car-fuel-2.5-litres/rc-car-products/32935
I use Byron myself.
Can't fault it. It is dear mind. Get what you pay for.
Use your old fuel for cleaning air filters and the like.
That super cub looks great for beginners like my self. I've also been looking at this model call the discovery. Not sure how easy parts would be though? Look at this on eBay: ST Model Discovery RTF RC Plane 2.4GHz S-FHSS compatible RRP

I've got a hyper 21 3port up for sale. It's up as spares or repairs as one of the screw holes that's hold the back plate on has had to be drilled out, see picture. Piston and liner ane all good. Everything in pic Is included. [
Looking for
I'm looking for a nitro battery switch with a charging lead. It to fit on my hyper8. I've got one a few years ago in an old car but can't find them any more? They save having to to open the battery box every time I wanna charge the hump pack.
I've git both, .21 and .28. I'd go for the 28 for bashing. Not had any tuning issues with mine. However the .21 does rev higher. Identical speeds. The .28 has a little more torque.
