I have a n mi2 thats done more than a few laps in its time and the chassis is looking a bit tired so have been looking at prices etc and came across a aluminium chassis , Looks pretty good and i have actually seen one used in anger and the owner highly praised it BUT was that because he had just bought one or because it was good ?? So what do you think , good , bad , indifferent ? Really would value your replies Andy

Sorry to but in and be a little off topic but the MI2 was mentioned in a post , In terms of a race chassis what major advantages has the mi4 over the mi2 ? Im a relative newbie and for what its worth i would say mi4 but thats probably because im liable to break things and theres usually several mi4 drivers around

Just as a bit of a post script i too am new to the hobby and have learned a lesson or two when buying from auction sites , On the whole there are very many honest sellers but beware the few others ! I really do hope your car arrives safely mate , I would like to suggest that maybe if you need any further equipment or in time a car upgrade it is often much safer to buy from a fellow club member or through a forum from a known user , Or if you see something you like on an auction site but are unsure forums are full of people who are more than happy to help you out , On the up side you may be able to make a fuss thu the auction sit as item not received you can also request contact details for the seller thru customer support , Andy

Hi , ive got a few sets of nimh packs for my 1/10 touring car , Is there any way i can test there quality without going to the track ? I could run the car on the bench but it wouldnt be under load then so i dont suppose that would work Andy

Hi back in the dim and distant when using nicad batteries they had to be discharged to avoid them developing a memory , Do nimh need to be discharged before re charging ?

Sorry to hear about your recent issues with Royal Snail , I too have taken issue with them many times in the past as i sent and received many parcels through them , I will now no longer send any parcels through there service and i suppose many others are of the same opinion , but for letters and packets i suppose they are the only real option , A good mate of mine worked for parcel farce and he joked about parcels with fragile on them , Explaining that many employees disregarded these markings saying FRAGILE was a town in Italy , Andy

Well i stumbled across the forum and thought it very much worth joining so here i am , I live in Devon and am pretty new to r/c cars though i did race for a short period of time many years ago but so much has changed since then , I will be running a schumacher mission electric touring car and will no doubt be needing many daft questions answered so i apologise in advance for this , My nearest club that has regular touring car races is Tiverton and ive just paid me dues and eagerly await my license dropping through the letterbox Andy
