Hi All I've been reading this thread for a while but can't find a definitive list of upgrades for a Firestorm Flux 10t, I have one thats stock at the moment but would like to upgrade before spring, does anyone have a list like the OP did for the original Firestorm? I also saw some put a Hobbywing max10 in one, is that worth it, or another motor upgrade? Thanks Karl

I dont think my charger has the capability to check cells individually, it shows the total voltage when charging but I can't see anywhere to check the individual cells. It's a Hobbyking eco eight.

They are completely discharged, I put a fan on them to accomplish this. Thanks for your help.

Thanks I'll check the cell voltages, is that the only issue or would being discharged for 4 years cause any detrememt? The other batteries are soaking in heavily salted water now.

Hi All I have 4 x Lipo batteries of varying types that when I put all my rc stuff away I didn't do a storage charge. 3 of the batteries are hard case and 1 soft, the soft case battery has very slight ballooning. All 4 batteries were discharged by use on a car. They've been sat there for at least 3-4 years. I've already thrown 8 batteries, 3 hard case that errored when charging and 5 soft that had ballooning. Should I throw them all and buy new? Is it worth the risk for £80-100. Thanks

Hi All Sorry to bring this back up again but I sold this motor and ESC from this car as I was too unwell to go out and use it, I've done this twice now, I've got another conversion kit but need to get a motor and ESC again. The last ones I bought were "hobbywing Xerun combo, 2200kv sensored (4274), 150a esc and LCD programmer" should I go down that road again or find something cheaper? I was reading a conversion post from a few years ago and it was mentioned to get a fake Castle 2200kv off ebay, are these still OK? I am determined to get this done and used this time. Thanks

Palmers gone after this race then, Sainz will replace him and Gasly will replace Sainz, Kyvat will be back and it's a lifeline for him if you ask me. Love Suzuka, a fast starting RB could mix things up at the start, they have nothing to lose but Ham and Vet do.

I like Vettel when he's doing well and relaxed he's a funny guy but when under pressure he's his own worst enemy. Ferrari have not come out well from the weekend, first they tell all the media they are not allowed to interview any memebr of the team thats not official and then put out a tweet basically blaming verstappen for the crash when everyone else thinks it's Vettel.

The dominoes have started to fall, Sainz has signed for Renault as part of the deal. The rest should be announced before or at Singapore. That's Palmer out of Renault, hulkenburg has a contract for next year, I don't see Palmer getting a drive next year, Toro Rosso will bring in one of their junior drivers to replace Sainz. Rumours are Kvyat was out at the end of the season, not sure if this will change things.

It was sort of a procession, Ricciardo was awesome again though. This penalty system for engine needs to change, nearly half the grid had penalties and the way they were applied not even people in the sport knew where some drivers would start on the day. Also, looks like McLaren will be with Renault next year and Honda will service Toro Rosso. Not sure how much of an improvement that will be for McLaren, I do think Renault will get their act together before Honda so it should be a smart move with Mercedes and Ferrari refusing to supply them.

Not the most exciting race today but Ferrari did the best job so deserved the 1-2. Fair play to Lewis for giving back the place even though max was close behind. There are some driver clashes creeping in, Ricciardo was seriously upset that max took him out on the second corner. Looks like the Hulk and KMag might come to blows soon, probably a good job there's a 4 week break now, Ocon and Perez aren't getting along, although I found it really funny Perez called Ocon an idiot for crashing in to him then did the same at the beginning of this race

It is heavy but shoots really well, it as a bit of overkill for backyard plinking but I liked the look of it I will have a drive around the local farms and ask, I am in a local club but none of the members have permissions. Thanks

Yep was a decent GP, both Ferraris with the same issue when at the beginning of the season they were going well with tyre wear, those upgrades must be working them harder. Rumours are Joylon Palmer may be replaced by Sainz for Hungry, I know he was unlucky on the weekend but I don't think he's anywhere near the talent of a lot of the drivers in the grid, he seems to take a long time to get up to speed during the season.

I'm sure they had the same back handers while Bernie was there! They've announced it then, wonder how long this is going to roll on for now.

Not sure MSV would be able to spend the money on getting it up to spec and then the cost of the F1. Palmer would probably love to do it but I can't see it happening.

The BRDC have called a press conference this afternoon, they are expected to execute the break clause in their contract which will mean no British GP currently after 2019. I can see why they are doing it a 5% increase in the cost year on year is ridiculous and unmanageable for them, sounds like they asked the government for help and were told no. They are obviously using this as a negotiation strategy but I'm not sure it will work, if their contract is renegotiated then it sets a precedent for other races to do the same. I believe there will be a British GP after 2019 but will it be in Silverstone or Docklands or somewhere else...
