the willd willy and ww2 from tamiya are know to wheele till batterys dead. the best way is to say no wheelie bars this way it is the throttle control of the driver. also your rc truck/car could be balanced to counter act gravity on the front and so in therory wheelie for ever cool idea but binned i think TC

a mini t has been clocked at 45+mph with a mamba tbh your not gonna need that kind of speed, my rc18t with a X300 will push 25mph i know this as have raced 1.1 at this speed. in 2003 RCX had a micro hpi rs4 hit 41.9 mph with a radar gun this was using a team orion big block motor a zero extreme esc two 5cell 1000mah brick packs running at 12v an a small reciever power pack hth with basic speed differences TC

cool mate a 5800kv thats good will be on par with a mamba of the same spec i hope TC

general rule of brushless the more KV the more power the esc/motor gives btw whats the kv rating for this brushless motor an esc combo please sounds to good to miss if its higher than 5400kv TC

the motor i have is a 208/300 size motor an only fits 1/18th scale rc i mentioned the end cap coming loose as the tabs that hold it in place was not clipped down this must have been from the factory as you can see the end cap has totaly melted, this motor is the mini version of the one your are talking about sorry TC

the graupner range are aeroplane motors you could check out some plane sites to see what the guys use but remember most use a reduction gearbox too thats fitted to the motors so you have to watch what you buying tbh get the graupner 400bb its a killer motor TC (still flying)

i myself have the integy matrix twin turbo 2005 and killed it this was in my mini t using a 1050 pack and standard esc-rx combo and spur+ pinion 1: check the endbell for damage my tab that hold the com in place came loose causing unrepairable damage the end cap total melted and fused the com rod. after a dismantel the damage viewed was tremendous. inside the can 1 of the holding sprins for the magnets was missing the com was blackened totaly from top to bottom the coms cap with brushes burtnt to crisp one of the brushes was total melted to the spring bar Tbh this motor is pap i seen better get a graupner 300 or equivelent if funds stretch get a brushless system less hastle and nearly none maintanance free TC

momin my tlt-1 shell had 4 coats of the tamiya blue (ps16) metalic paint applyed in thin coats this way it stopped me getting runs and blotch marks. the backing coat was 4 layers thick too using thin coats of spray and allowing for it to dry between coats in general lots of thin coats are better than a few thick heavy coats and also back out the shell too this gives better deeper looking colors, give the shell a more real looking paint job as you would find on 1.1 cars shame the rc18t shell is not backed out it makes it look ugly when you can see through the shell in sun light TC

i would look for 400 sized motors if looking for 370's plus there are alot more 400 sized motors as they are used alot in rc helis and planes TC

thanks phil you was only one to answer yeah after hours of waiting for advice from a couple of forums i went fro it now i have the wires conected to the correct power pins. and have three caps fitted also. probem was 2.30am is abit late to play and a flat cell pack dont help either. lets seee if the mini t will make it without throwing a pinion or burning out a half decent 280 motor now TC

ok guys i have taken of the power wires from my stocker and need to put new ones on soooo look on the end and tell me what color wire is on the terminal with the small circle next to it live or earth ? thanks need this as have killed the mini t motor TC
