  1. where do you get to "enjoy" a fast car in the uk ? you can't do it in populated areas, motorways don't usually have any rough corners so it's boring just going fast on a straight, there's so many speed cameras and there's often police that won't hesitate to bring a helicopter if you want to play fast and furious having a fast car is good, but do you really get to drive it any fast ? In the u.k. I feel like if I am doing something wrong I might get lucky once or twice but there's a good chance I'll have to pay for it. In Greece, most of the time it doesn't matter, unless you kill someone while being drunk, I think the amount of accidents there is way higher too... p.s. I'm sure you won't miss me much, but I'll be going back to Greece for the next couple of weeks, so will be bashing next year !
  2. damn, I had to take the car to the mechanic, it's gonna be ready tommorow at some point, but unless that's early I won't make it
  3. I would definitely be up, but both saturday and sunday are rainy and cold on the weather forecast for slough.
  4. Nice pics ! How did this happen btw ?
  5. northala rocks, it's a very nice park, and the small hills are fun there's a couple of small jumps and plenty of space, only downside is that there's quite a few people around, and lots of children that get very excited with rc's
  6. sounds good to me, I always see the heights from the a40 but never been there
  7. It was a camera I had never noticed, they sent me the fine along with 3 pictures of the car parked on the double yellow in a total of 3 minutes.
  8. there's a good chance I'll make it this weekend, is there anything planned ?

  10. Hello, I am using chrome and I've started getting a security error message when I open the forum. It's something like : Then on the safe browsing diagnostic page I found the following : Are you getting any similar warnings ?
  11. @Archer This is the charge diagram for a Li-Ion battery, it has the same properties with a Li-Po battery (though a Li-Po is fully charged at 4.2V) 3V is the minimum a single cell should ever reach, they say that if you go lower than that point a chemical reaction in the battery would likely damage the cell. If you cutoff at 3.3V the cell is reasonably discharged (around 10% left) and still safe. Does anyone know exactly why a Li-Po should be stored at around 3.7V instead of fully charged at 4.2V ?
  12. The one behind the rear side of the civic centre (south of hillingdon road)
  13. I am seriously considering an alternative bashing area for rainy days, I've tried this multi storey car park near uxbridge before, http://g.co/maps/83xny, it's quiet on a saturday as there are other car parks closer to uxbridge malls, if you want to park inside it costs 1 or 1.5£ all day (on sat) but you can also park outside if you don'n mind carrying your stuff and not having the option to recharge batteries. If it's not raining you can go to the top floor, enjoy a nice view and it's easier to form a virtual track as there are markings on the ground, If it's rainy you can go to the second floor. It's only suitable for electrics; When I ran the nitro an old lady from the neighborhood came over to complain
  14. I'm sorry for you Luigi, which ESC was that ? p.s. less teeth, less wheel revolutions / turn, less load, less heat
  15. I think Deans is fail, the width of the plug is smaller than the diameter of an 8 awg cable. Moreover if you wan to solder an 8 awg properly on a deans there is a good chance the plastic around the plug will melt.
  16. Watch it if you get a cheap gas iron, I got one from ebay and it's no good, when you push the tip against the surface you want to solder it twists and cuts the gas supply, I'm sure there are some good ones but are normally more expensive. I got an electric from amazon which is ok, we can do the soldering here tommorow evening if you want to.
