  1. Tricky Tris, sorry, can't access the video, the motor is a 6 pole tho, dunno if that will make a difference.
  2. hiya, where did you get the 58t spur from, the standard for the x2crt is 48t, do you use yours for bashing or racing, what run times are you getting on the batterys you use, i got my HN on 48/16 with 6600mah nano-techs, getting about 18mins run time with motor temps of about 146f with xerun 150a esc and tenshock x812l 2150kv motor with timing and punch at zero
  3. Yeah, floppy cables on both motor and esc, so have cut them shorter, but kept them all the same length, so hopefully all good, cheers for the reply.
  4. Hi guys, am I right in saying wiring length from esc to motor as short as poss, or does it really matter?
  5. Here's mine, it's a Hong Nor x2crt, with the Tekno chassis, running a Tenshock 2150kv 6 pole motor, 150a hobbywing esc on 4s, only used it a couple of times so far, but very happy with it. https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-frc1/1006022_4531381583183_1165127882_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/1012730_4531381783188_467231768_n.jpg

  9. Hello mate, might be interested in this if you've not flung it.
  10. Hello mate, if these are still available, can I take them?
  11. Hi Bertie, bit off topic, sorry, is there any chance you could measure the width of the chassis with the side guards on of the D8T, cheers.
  12. Standard 5bss driveshafts with Dark soul Toobz, never had a failure with my Bzm powered Baja.
  13. Buy it, run it, love it. Nuff said.
  14. Box can be removed with servos still attached just disconnect the servo arms from the servo, whole unit comes right out
  15. Nigel is one the best out there, real good bloke.
  16. Kev, think there 3.5" ain't they.lol
  17. Not really clutch problems, but the 5 is a heavy lump to get going, and anyway to keep the clutch cool definitely helps, on mine I have the vertigo vented clutch bell and the hostile clutch carrier, keeps the clutch nice and cool, couple of other 5's I run with have fully enclosed clutches and have had bogging issues due to the clutch overheating.
  18. All depends on what you are doing, bashing or racing, if racing the only real option is the Samba pipe, quiet and good on low end, but does lose a bit on the top end, if bashing, the original Bartalone pipe is good, but a bit frail where it is bolted onto the engine case, mine was always working loose and losing the alloy spacer, the Bartalone Xp bigbore solves all the fit issues and is a really good pipe, but bugger me it is loud, can't comment on the jetpro's as have never seen a 5 with one on, also the Bzm micro pipe seems to work well. The biggest trick with the five is to keep the clutch cool, crack that and you will have good pickup and top end that will last.
  19. Got twin hitecs on my steering and a single on my throttle/brake running the killer RC lipo pack, no problems at all.
  20. Got a Canon EOS500D, i might sell if the price was right
