  1. False alarm, got it fixed. One wire got loose insidevso a bit of soldering worked like a charm.
  2. Damn I had it for 3 years so probably time to change. Any advice on a decent 80-100 watt charger up to 6s?
  3. Hi guys Any idea what is the warranty of above charger? Thanks
  4. But then it will be alot slower...what would i need to do to get low temps and big wheels in the same time with decent speed? Even on nitro i could use 19t pinion and it was a bit less powerfull but still very fast...
  5. Forgot to mention that im using 15t pinnion atm :/ my plan is to buy a 1800kv motor ang go to either 17t or 19t pinion. I only hope the run times will get better and notor will go cooler...fingers crossed
  6. Temps are high on motor but esc and batterys are withing sensible temps range.
  7. Its a hong nor x2 truggy with monster truck tires
  8. And that was the answer i was looking for, my 4s turnigy nano 5000mah 45-90c last me abt 10-11 minutes. 1800kv should come down on temps. What should i do with 2200kv motor or sell it? Or maybe keep it for buggy suitable?
  9. Some usefull info from si coe, i did a lot of electric stuff back at school but that was ages ago so its good to recall what i should know already i wonder how did this thread go off the rails so quickly, it must be a christams atmosphere or something...
  10. So im just wondering what is the actual phisical difference for same motor size but different kv? Im guesing that the armature is bigger in lower kv motor but is that it? Thanks
  11. Im thinking of getting a decent quadcopter but i need advice, what are the most popular forums for quadcopters etc? Thanks in advance and sorry for wrong section.
  12. And if you are still looking for one: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=34374 Its uk warehouse so quick postage
  13. Yes, remove the dodgy cell and put the working one in. Make sure is secured and it doesnt matter if you use soldering gun or iron as long is powerfull enough to heat up elements fast enough so you dont heat up the cells. The tabs (or whatever you call them) are heat pressed together and sometimes get loose, they are made of alloy so it should be quite easy to solder. I should have made a tutorial but i never had time to do it
  14. Ps the tricky part is to separate the calls as they are joined together with double sided tape. So be patient and use som sort of hair dryer to soften the glue.
