  1. On man bet that was well annoying...live and learn I guess...which halfords set did you get?...I went to halfords yesterday the set I wanted was out of stock ...the guy in shop did tell me the ratchets are now covered as well so you've got life time warranty on everything which is pretty good..for sets under
  2. I've seen a decent halfords pro set I'm either going for the
  3. Hi guys I'm looking to get 1/4 socket set or a general set that contains 1/4 3/8 and maybe 1/2 set. I've already had some good advice from BEZ just wanted to know what the rest of you use. I'm leaning towards a halfords socket set lifetime warranty and I go out and buy it tomorrow. Just leave us a comment on what you have and how long its lasted/ing. Thanks
  4. I only noticed it because it was orange What upgrades are you planning?...if it needs any.
  5. Looks good mate what are the orange things on the engine cover? Also what price range was your baja in?...gives me a rough benchmark if I decide to buy one in summer. Cheers
  6. That is true i know what u mean guys but fitting a goped in a toyota is a lot easier than fitting a pitbike lol without me needing tow bar and trailer...to take it to a track or sommat. I just want sommat to tinker with and use during summer before I go back to 6th form....that's different to rc and won't bleed me dry of money lol.
  7. I've looked on gumtree and ebay etc....no joy for a chain driven goped....thought I'd try msuk see if anyone has one or knows someone one who sells them.
  8. I just thought gopeds were cool so if I can get one cheapest il go for it...still uses petrol rc engines but slightly cheaper to maintain and I can ride it ....sort of a new hobby to go into....
  9. Hi guys slightly off topic I know but does anyone know where I can buy a used or new petrol goped (no good ones on ebay ATM)...preferablely a chain driven like a GSR. Any help much appreciated. If anyone has one for sale please contact me with some pictures at hand and a price. Looking to get one stick a zenoah G290 or 320 engine hopefully get about 30MPH out of it
  10. Hi mate I had a Yama its all good to begin with then little things break l. As said above stay away go for a km that's what I should've done. My tires wore out then I couldn't find replacements...and because there aren't many sellers they rip you off. (Due to no competition on ebay) And another thing there's no on road wheels which is soo annoying as I like driving on Tarmac only downside tyres last a few months if that. I luckily managed to sell mine for
  11. Hi did you buy the baja ss kit? If so did you find it any cheaper than modelsport? If only the ss kit was

  14. Meh as long as it works lol no ones gonna see it anyway. Roughly how much would you say you've spent on your losi?..not including how much you bought it for (I'm just nosy)
  15. Nice one mate I've been thinking whether or not to get one as it is a expensive hobby lol. Dunno whether to get into dirt bikes or stick to my rc stuff. Not rich enough at 17 to do both If possible could you get a video of running once you run it in a bit.
  16. Hi shell looks wicked its just lacking something...stickers or sommat. Still looks good though.
  17. There not too bad to be fair... mine lasted 2 years then everything sort of broke together lol (the steering servo, needed new wheels and a steering arm) . They are still fun though for a beginner rc lol. I went straight into a large scale even if it is a ****ty one I really like the sound of petrol compared to the slightly annoying nitro sound. If he needs spares he can have what's left of mine works fine just needs a a steering servo and a new remote as my dad knocked over my remote by accident. I would want
  18. oh well mate these things happen like people above have said if you can swap it back do it. I've got a Yama and from personal experience can say they seem decent but as soon as you compare it to a hpi baja you see how slow they are. And because there not that popular parts tend to be more expensive, as there're less sellers so not much competition on price. upgrades are pretty ****ty as well. If it means paying a bit like
  19. Shame your not near leeds otherwise I would buy it for the right price
  20. Where did you get your baja from mate?
