  12. nice mota, unusual choice for your first one but well done, classics are great. to answer a question above about how old does a car have to be to become a classic is simple. any car can be a classic car, but if you mean how old does a car have to be to get free road tax duty then the answer is it has to be manufactured/built pre 1972, it can be registered after 1972 and still get free road tax so long as it can be proven that the car was built before 1972.im sure it used to be any car over 25 years got the free tax, but as cars are built better and stronger now days, theya are lasting longer so our penny pinching government changed it so they wouldnt lose too much revenue.
