  10. When you turn the transmitter off does it failsafe properly and apply the brakes? Does it operate as normal without the snubs running, full throttle neutral, full brake?

  12. Ah sounds fair! I'm hoping to upgrade my old 1.0 buggy to a 3.0 I'm the next few months, and then have a xheap 2.0eu as an electric buggy! Just sold my 1.0 actually has forced my hand a little!
  13. Don't have problems getting parts at the moment, that's if you need parts, only things I've ever broken are shocks and stripped threads on diff casings, all of which are backward compatible down to the 1.0, I just fitted diff casings from a 4.0 buggy, to my 1.0 truggy! Also I love my mini 8ight, it's not a proper basher, and won't take the abuse of the 8th scale ones, but for a bit of throw in a backpack fun it's excellent! 20171122_200228 by ben hawkes, on Flickr
  14. Definitly a losi 8ight buggy! Mine are so good, take some serious abuse, just so hard, you can buy the losi conversion kits which we also excellent, and fit the electrics and away you go! Have a look at my build thread below this one, Hawks Losi 8ight T, I'm currently Converting it to brushless!

Can't wait to get it installed! Hopfully today

  18. Brushless conversion kits are here! Picked them up from my mate yesterday 60 each with nezt to no postage and skipped customs so no tax! Just waiting on electrics to arrive! If they get here before Xmas I might get some time to get this converted over the holidays!!
  19. I am also sorry for the late reply! I shall send to a pm when I can take some photos!
  20. I have always had a bit of a knack with nitros, but yes they are a bit of a **** sometimes to get them running well! I've got a couple of little brushless trucks now which are great, but they do lack the noise and the smell!
  21. Ha we shall see! Still waiting for bits to arrive, so shall see! I have had alot of fun with my nitros! So shall see how much fun it is!
  22. its not good is it!! I still love the nitros, and I will be keeping at least one of the buggies nitro for a bit of racing next year! but for bashing, especially through winter it just seemed like so much less hassle to just throw some batteries in and go! and then get back, quick blow off with the airline and all clean!! hopfully motor and esc will be here tomorrow, electric conversion kits later this week, then can get it done!!
  23. just over a year between updates on this one!! This truggy is still awesome, takes so much abuse and just loves it! I think I might have to replace the rear diff housing as the diff is starting to skip a little, but it all seems good!! However, I drove a mates one of these the other day, and it may have persuaded me to convert this one to the dark side, along with a new uncut shell, this one should be going brushless in the next few weeks, once parts arrive from the states and here!! possibly just for winter until we get our usual bash spots back, but we shall see how I like it!!
