  1. I'll give you a tenner the lot. On ebay you can search and see all items that actually sold and how much they went for.
  2. I try to support local but they are barely ever open, even when they are supposed to be. Emails are rarely answered and vague when they are.
  3. HPI Sprint is belt drive and can be CSed. There's a post about it at the top of this forum. I got a roller (needed about
  4. I seem to recall you mentioning a toy rat a couple of times recently. You should drive it through Pets at Home!
  5. You've been waiting ages to be able to post that picture haven't you
  6. The tyres on the Raikiri look nice.
  7. That'd be my Mardave banger. No local clubs... And it's hardly the best basher in the world. I just like the simplicity.
  8. That 1/5th is very nice. On more than one occasion I've been very close to picking up a Schumacher big six for quite low prices...
  9. That's it flat out, I was going to either hook the tray up to my charger or hook the charger to the Tx (I don't know if the PSU for my charger would charge through the Tx without using the charger as well) rather than 4 at a time for god knows how long in my AA charger. I think I'll just mod it for Lipo like Noj says. I'll just check measurements on everything as I haven't seen any that would fit in the space for a flat AA tray.
  10. I have the GT3 but it didn't come with a battery
  11. Hi guys, I have 8 rechargable AAs, all same brand and capacity. If I stick them in the battery tray of my receiver, will I be able to hook that up to my Turnigy Accucell 6 as a NiMH battery pack at charge them at 1A?
  12. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/221730871065?nav=SEARCH Or without the RTR gear http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/360953326104?nav=SEARCH Tamiya TT02b which is a buggy version of the TT02. Similarish to the TT01 which is a very common chassis.
  13. You see the video of that Slash driving over the boat pond? Mad, that.
  14. For spinning so quick they stay balanced really well, I would've thought there'd be much more wobble/vibrations.
  15. More likely to just get bust if you're using it on your way to work. I can imagine lots of curbs and car wheels to run into. I get enough looks using my nitro in my cul de sac (look at that grown man playing with toys blahblah etc.) Let alone walking it on my way to work. And who wants to carry all that rubbish with them, glow charger, tx, spare batteries, fuel bottle. Then there's your colleagues. We used to take the Mick out of a guy who came to work on a skateboard. Everyone knows I'm into RC, I read magazines on my break and keep them in my drawer in the office. But if I brought one to work I wouldn't live it down. Have you tried a dog? People walk dogs... Have you thought about getting a dog?
  16. I use a laptop style one I bought from eBay, searched Accucell 6 Power Supply. Course, that was 4 years ago...
  17. Here it is again, another bank holiday. What's everyone up to?
  18. At uni, we weren't allowed to do anything in the lab before we passed the solder test. The lab supervisor gave us 12 pieces of stiff single core wire and we had to solder it into a cube. The test was to let the lab tech rip it apart. If he could break the joints with one hand then you fail, if the cube distorted but the joints held, you passed.
  19. If it's a Mardave it's got an unusual chassis :/
  20. That's the one I have, but for the price of a tip you can get another electric soldering iron from EBay. I think I used to pay
  21. My 30W won't cut it trying to solder deans connectors. Apparently I've killed the 4th tip for my gas iron, and its harder to find the tips now I'm out of uni (used the educational Farnell site for cheap everything!) So I think I'm in the market for a cheap new soldering iron.
  22. Looks like there's different buttons to start the different charges. Left for NiMH/NiCd and right for LiPo.
  23. You need to have a halfway decent soldering iron. I have a little 30W iron and it's not hot enough to solder deans connectors.
  24. Looks like a Track star ESC? Edit:http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__25871__Turnigy_TrackStar_120A_Brushless_Short_Course_Truck_ESC_AU_Warehouse_.html
