Yo all, it's been a while, I recently dug out some rc stuff from a few years ago, including a micro crawler I built which runs on some tiny 2s 180mah lipos what setting to I set for the ampage when charging? I'm currently using a Imax b6 charger Thanks for your help

as gaz says, scrap the cable ties get some lock wire or the spring out of a pen etc... wrap that around as tight as it will go then heat shrink the link abd wire etc....

ok finally got the hang of this! managed to calibrate it and swaped the blades, not perfect still drifts a touch but i can get it to hover! managed to fly it around living room pretty sucsessfully only a couple of little minor scrapes managed to achive some flips as well! now for some questions, first off is the bigger the quad the easier or harder it is to fly? im thinking of getting an x4 or bigger but thinking perhaps its worth me sticking with the q4 for a while untill i get the hang of it! would the bigger x4 controller make it easier to use? the q4 controller is a small little unit! is there any way to get a longer battery life? is there any quick battery upgrades

i should explain the two 2s set up was ran as 2s not 4s! i had run times of about 2 hours! just had a look on ebay basicly 14 quid for that brused speedo nice one mind kinda price range! ao now i just gota look for batterys

hello all, bought a Q4 last was waiting next door this morning after i returned from a holiday! got it out and charged it up! have to say im impressed! however i can seam to calibrate it in to either mode 1 or 2, and the little thing constantly drifts to the back left, and being a novice and no idea what im doing i jsut seam to make it worse! can any one please help!! im sure a recalibration would make a difference!!

been a long time since i touched this ring in terms of repair/modding it just works for me! however im now in the need for some electrics! the esc is dead which killed on of my lipos! so what esc should i go for? current set up is a 35x2 brushed drift motor and the stock speedo with two 2s batterys! now thes motor is fine but the batterys and speedo are cooked so should i think about a brushless set up? or stick with a brished set up?

I had this with my house, sent loads of letter back! I'm the end I opened one and rang them, they sent some one round at my continuance and I proved who I was! Never heard off them again

I wrap a bit on electrical tape around the shaft as they always come undone!

Yea already got a charger and some 2s Lipo's for my firestorm plan on using 2x2s lipo's to start with to cut costs! Also, I'm unsure as to what hyper 7 this is, I believe it's a base model, and wondered if it needed any thing so it would take the brushless as it is?

Hay guys, I know this has been done to detah but I always fancied a hyper 7 e, the other day a bloke at work offered me a hyper 7 for 50 quid, so I jumped on it. Here are some pictures So it needs a clean and I may run up the engine for a laugh. I plan on getting the conversion kit from modelsport, is there any thing else I should consider getting? What kv motor does every one recommend? I was planning on running between 4 and 6s, And any advice would be appreciated Thanks snake

Best way to protect your shed/garage is make it so it's noisy to break in to! Hang old paint tin's by the door with washers etc in, so the guys make loads of noise when he opens the door!

The maverick scout is a good buy, it's a good investment to see if you like it etc, I would recommend one to any one! I have one and think for not a lot of money, and a few free mod's you have a very capable crawler!

another small update, this is not perfect and will be re done at some point, but you get an idea of what it should look like, I will fit it back on my rig tomorrow,

I think the shocks on a scout are 120mm long, I run 100mm shocks but I don't have stock chassis! You can get away with 110mm shocks and not do the fuel tube mod!

To be honest mate I'd leave it! As you say you will be pulling the shocks apart to do fuel tube mod which will disturb Sean's!
