I have a 2.4 set up here.... http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/209601-clear-out-rx-tx-spektrum-rx-nimh-charger-tools-servo-horns-further-reductions/#entry2191120 Wont be able to post until Friday though
  2. Yeah I'm sure I'll get there in the end, if the esc was like the pic it would have been ideal as the caps would have gone on top deck and the battery wires shortened accordingly. May return it and hunt for an esc where wires have to be soldered from the off
  3. Yeah got the 1300 packs and the esc sits behind . On the pic on the hobbyking site it looks like the wires for the caps are separate from power leads but they're not. Think I may get some extra caps, cut the wires and solder the new caps on the end as it connects to battery connector
  4. Esc arrived, but the caps are soldered into the battery leads which completely messes up my layout. 2 questions.... Do I absolutely need the caps? If I do, can I take these ones off, shorten the wires to the length I need then solder new caps in. For ease I wanted to solder in at the battery connectors end and not near the pcb of the esc

    I have a spektrum Sr201 + bind if here.... http://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/topic/209601-clear-out-rx-tx-spektrum-rx-nimh-charger-tools-servo-horns-further-reductions/#entry2190340
  7. Gone with this in the end ...... http://www.hobbyking.co.uk/hobbyking/store/__29351__Turnigy_Brushless_ESC_60A_w_Reverse_prog_v2_2_UK_Warehouse_.html
  8. Further reductions on the dearer stuff, 2.4 set up is a great deal!!!!
  9. Got my heart set on the esc being tucked in behind the shorter Lipo packs May re check space though as have changed rx recently
  10. The esc amperage the current can is paired with is 35a, the motor can apparently draw 45a but never had an issue with the 35a Was looking at something different for a bit more head room and shuffle round in layout
  11. Ah cheers The can is the lc racing emb 1
  12. Hi all have spotted a decent size esc, here: http://www.teamorion.com/vortex-r10-one-sensorless-bl-esc-45a-deans-plug-en-2-3.html?sl=EN it's rated @ 45a and has the ideal footprint I am after the esc is "limited" to motors at/up to 3300kv, the motor i am intending to use is rated at 4500kv - albeit is not a 540 size can (its a much much smaller motor) - mini/micro size even though the esc is stated as 3300kv, would the fact i intend to run a larger kv motor, albeit of much small size be an issue? the lipo would be 7.4v 1300mah & 25c
  13. Need an esc for a buggy Must have small footprint of circa 40mm x 33mm max and ideally lower than 25mm in height Needs to be brushless and in top nick, ideally 3s capable Why?
  14. As per the title, any users here? If so general feedback would be appreciated Looks exactly like the ezrun 60a....l
  15. Hi all, bit of a clear out.... 1) tx, rx and bind plug from my rtr lc racing emb buggy. Is a 2.4 system and works perfectly -
