  1. Out of what I have owned in the past, it looks most like a Thunder Tiger to me. But then, that was 12 years ago. :/
  2. They didn't when I bought a car a month back.
  3. I've had haribo from Fusion Hobbies. Would prefer stickers though.
  4. I sold 3 of them today, to make way/funds for my next car. An Axial SCX10. Just need to find a decent body now. . . .

I explore abandoned mines, and other underground places. I like off-roading, although I don't have a 4x4 at the moment. Will soon (hopefully) start building a model railway. I play lots of games. (I am a PC gamer, none of this console *****) These are the only real active interests of mine atm.
  6. Or invoice them. http://news.sky.com/story/1003497/victory-for-man-who-took-cold-caller-to-court
  7. I have a Tamiya Dark Impact on a DF-03 chassis. The chassis has mild hop ups (alloy shaft, bearings, fireball motor, esc, etc.). I would like to know if it is possible to go brushless on it? More so, will the chassis and gear train take the extra power? It is a nice, lightweight, well balanced chassis, and I have had hours of fun with it, from jumping kids, chasing cats, climbing walls, and general tomfoolery. But I am used to its speed. And as it is still my current favourite, I would like to get more from it. Brushless to me seems the way to go. Opinions? Has anyone done this?
  8. I have no idea. I bought it off ebay. It is my first electric non tamiya (I did have a hyper7 once) When I got it, the shocks were quite slack. I had to run the thumbscrews down the shocks by 18mm to preload it enough to make the rear axle level.
  9. I spent over an hour on the phone to them before they asked me what type of windows I was using. My reply was 'Ubunto' He suggested that I copulated with my mother and hung up.
  10. Can anyone link stronger springs suitable for the e Firestorm please? The link on the OP is discontinued. My Firestorm has a rather saggy arse end.
  11. Only thing I bench pressed was a gearbox from a Renault Traffic (real one, not a model) as I lifted it into place.
  12. Thank you. The Hornet is looking slightly better now. Fitted new receiver (2.6ghz), a HPI SC-15wp esc, and got a new body shell awaiting painting. The old shell I gave a nasty coat of left over yellow from the lunchbox until the new shell is ready. (Haven't decided what colour to paint it yet)
  13. I would probably have the Paj over the Pumpkin. Speed difference, really depends. The Hornet (buggy) has same gearbox as the Lunchbox (Monster Truck). But the wheels on the Lunchbox are bigger, so in theory, the Lunchbox will be faster. But with cars like the Pajero, it is more about detail and looks than performance.
  14. Will you be using it for more the modelling/detail aspect, or the speed/control aspect?
