  1. The guys you described sounds like me and my dad when we go out, no point wearing decent clothes if your going to get mud and nitro fuel all over you. That was the reason I sold my baja in the end, run out of places to take it
  2. Just got my buggy 3.5, ain't run it in fully yet. I've had a truggy flux for a year or so, upgraded the servo, rear hubs and shock caps. Want to do same mods to my buggy but can't find the same HB caps I fitted on my truggy. Will these work? http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/24503/
  3. anyone had a brand new rtr nitro and had the idle set to high from factory???

  6. I'm still debating which to buy, getting one tomorrow but will decide when I'm in the shop. I'm thinking the hyper will proberly last better as all I do is bash but I have a trophy truggy flux so can part share... Hmm
  7. Sweet, got to wait another 24hours before I can get mine, in the mean time I'm getting my fix with my heli's looks sweet dude
  8. These are pretty good out the box mate, very smooth to drive. All I've done to mine is adjust the camber to about 2-3 degrees, locked the rear diff, upgraded the servo, and fitted the radshapeRC chassis. Runs pretty well, going to order a 10.5t or lower brushless setup, front one way diff and a CS kit and I think that will be it. I think you can modify the chassis to run the motor up front, ill check a few websites as I can't remember who done this mod. Had TT01s in the past but these sprints are a lot smoother and I much prefer them. Enjoy it mate
  9. Cool thanks for the help guys. I've used the switch from the other radio, is a little bigger so I've had to put it in sideways (instead of switching front to back it switches left to right) That will do for the time being, I work near a maplins so when I'm back at work ill stop in there and get one. Thanks for the help
  10. That's what it thought, I've had a look round and can't seem to find any. I'm going to take it apart now and see if I can use parts from this old radio I have. Thanks
  11. Hi, I was playing around with my blade 130x, and I managed to break my dx6i. The toggle switch on the right hand side (mix/TH hold) snapped off! is there anywhere I can get spares for this? I do have other radios that look like they have the same switches fitted, can any switch be fitted? Thanks
  12. Just getting used to mine, thanks for the help setting it up mate, helped me out a lot. Hope this weather clears up soon as I don't like flying this in the house, had a couple of close calls but been lucky so far, lucks going to run out soon haha
  13. Got mine today, had a bit of trouble setting it up on my dx6i but im there now. And i shouldnt really practice indoors haha
  14. Not sure what will fit, my brakes are perfect in the dry, in the wet there's no point, pads are ruined within seconds in the wet
  15. Yeh just use a lipo. Much more power you will be surprised. Here's a link http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/27957/ You can get cheaper off eBay and you will need a plug in charger
  16. Ok thanks. Don't wana go mad with it as it will only be used to practise on in the winter. Just don't want a carpet that falls apart and ends up inside all the dogbones and gears. I know you get a little debris off carpet I can deal with that, just don't want it melting etc
  17. Wanted one for ages mate. My birthday in a few days so the mrs is buying me one. Already bought the blue and white canopy, white landing gear and spare lipos for it haha
  18. Hi, thinking of converting my loft to a drift park for my drifter. Going to board it out and have quite a lot of space up there. Just thinking what carpet do tracks use? Is it a certain type or is it any smooth carpet they can find?? Thanks
  19. Last thing I ordered from America arrived within 4days. Had to pay a small customs charge but was still just over half the price of uk prices
