  1. Anyone got a link to a replacement brake disk for the firestorm? I'm struggling to find one that I know fits. And I'd love to know where you can get the alloy brake arm from too.
  2. Hi all, sorry I've been away for a few days, but I really appreciate the replies. I've found my nearest RC club which seems to be maritime in Chatham, and I'm going to pop down there on tuesday night if I get time. Ill just ask a few people which models are popular and see what I want to get into. I'll keep everyone posted as to which direction I decide to take and I'm sure I'll be on here constantly asking daft questions lol. Cheers!
  3. Hmmm I've had a look at the jp4 and ordered it, which servo's are best recommended? And do you have a link to them if possible? Really sorry for the fact that I'm a bit slow with all of this.....
  4. I took my TT to pieces last night to give it a clean, and feel alot more confident of adding new parts and individualising it a bit, but that poses one question...Where is best to get some upgraded parts for the TT on the web? I fancy some shiney carbon fibre add ons, a new clutch, new wheels, new servos, new airfilter and a tuned piped but I'm not too sure where i can find them. On the subject of tuned pipes, do they make that much of a difference? And what difference do they make (if any)? Heres some pics of the devastation a screwdriver and an allen key can make lol
  5. Ah, superb... ill give it a proper look over. Just a quick question, I was running my TT this morning and the steering died. It turns out the screw that attaches the servo arm to the steering arm had come loose and fallen off. I looked threw the manual and I think its a 3x12mm screw that I need but I just need that confirmed. Cheers
  6. Whats the best electric to use (Circa £300) to get into racing?

  7. Glad I found this thread! I was beginning to think I was the only preson in Kent with a Rc car lol.... If you want a bit of flat tarmac with some humps and bumps in it, there is the rotunda in Folkestone which is on the sea front. I take my cars down there to give them a good top end ragging. Keep me posted if there is any progress with this meet up as I would be up for that.
  8. **Im a bit new to the whole world of RC cars at the moment (a freshy if you will) so I apologise in advance if I ask some daft questions in this post ** I recently bought a Trophy Truggy and a H10 Firestorm and ive only just ran them in, but I have caught the bug MASSIVELY! The thing is, where I live (south east kent) the RC clubs are a bit sparse to say the least, and all of which race indoors. Soooooo..... I wanted some advice on what to buy so I can get into racing. Its all well and good thrashing a big nitro round a field, but I wanted something a little more competitive. I raced about 8 years ago, so I have average mechanical skills, but I'll try anything, so I just wondered what your suggestions were I.E. I got told that the little Tamiya M-05 chassis is a decent place to start and is relatively cost efficient. I've got up to about
  9. Hey folks, I've just got myself a TT and thought I'd join this forum in search of some information for future upgrades. I've not properly ran my TT in yet (only done 2 tanks stand still so far) but I already can't wait to get out there and give it a good blast. I'll try to get some photos up asap, but its pretty much bone stock, so nothing special at the mo. I do have a quick question though regarding upgrading my car. What are the parts that are most in need of upgrading? I have tried to read as many of the 1050 posts made in this thread but my eyes started to go square so I gave up lol. So sorry if im asking a question that has already been posted. A few local enthusiasts say that the clutch is a little temperamental, and others say the servo's are a handy thing to upgrade, but I just wanted your valued opinions if you don't mind. Also if there are any little add ons that are needed i.e. the plastic shields that protect the rear suspension arms and shocks from getting filthy, I would love to know about them. I have got a decent amount to spend on my TT, but not an endless budget, so i just wondered where to go from stock, so-to-speak. Anyway, I look forward to your replies Ross
