  1. I got my on a Rip Max jackal a few years back and he had great fun learning with it before upgrading to a FTX Carnage. The last time he used the rip max it died following a trip through a puddle, i now want to get it going again so my younger son can use it to learn on. Is it worth replacing the standard RX,ESC, Servo with another rip max part: https://anticsonline.uk/Product/Ripmax-P-RMX736012... And the standard 370x motor with the same again: http://www.ripmax.com/Item.aspx?ItemID=M-RMX736032... Which i can't seem to find in stock anywhere. Or am i better off replacing the RX,ESC,Servo with something better/cheaper along with a better motor?

  3. I’m interested in the bullet flux. Got any pictures, what come with it?
  4. Refently got back into RC cars after nearly a 10 year gap. Took my brushless carnage out in the garden yesterday and managed to crash in spectacular style. Ive now got a broken front suspension holders, broken servo saver and broken steering arms. I thought the shock had broken but it looks like it just popped out and the oil leaked out. I found the blue shock seal so have ordered some shock oil so hopefully it will be ok. Ive ordered replacements parts from eBay but they won’t arrive till mid next week. Does anyone local to high Wycombe in Bucks have any spares I can buy this weekend, or recommend a local shop? I also would like to know what other spares to get, what other boys tend to break, going away on Tuesday and was hoping to take the carnage with us. Also got a 3s Lipo arriving today, shame i won’t be able to try it out. Also beed a decent tool set, any recommendations?
  5. Not sure about budget for the charger, can I get something decent for about £30-£50? Ideally I want a charger that is future proof and is compatible with other batteries, more powerful Lipo batteries etc. Also so wondering whether it’s worth getting a different Lipo battery, what can this car handle in stock form, is it worth getting a more powerful battery? I’ve seen some 5000mah batteries, I guess they will give me more runtime? Any recommendations for the charger and battery will be greatly appreciated.
  6. After a very long time I’m returning to the world of RC cars, my wife decided to get me a FTX Carnage Brushless Monster truck, few pictures below. I’ve been out of this game for a while and I was impressed just how good a brushless and lipo combination is. Back in the days I used to have a Nitro HPI Savage and in those days the electric RC models were nowhere near as quick. I also had a 1:16 Traxxas revo and a few Ansmann models, but again the nitro HPI Savage was a beast. I took it out for its first spin today and the bug has firmly bitten again, it’s now time to start improving it. I genuinely think that this is probably quicker that the HPI savage was, and far far easier to maintain, no messing around with glow plugs and pull starters. Press the on button and good to go. Granted I miss the sound of the big boy exhaust on the Savage. What I have already noticed is that the rear shock ball ends are knackered; the rear shock shaft piston is supposed to screw into the shock balls but doesn’t seem to and keeps popping out. I will just order some replacements instead, any advice on these? I also need to get a decent charger as I think the charger that comes with it is a trickle charger for the lipo batteries, any advice on what charger to get? Anyone have a FTX Carnage that can offer some pointers? Any decent tips? I need to buy some fuel pipe, I used to have tie ropes through silicone fuel pipes connected to the body clips to make it easier to remove the body, where is the best place to get a small amount of fuel pipe from?
  7. How about a brushed mini revo, complete, ready to use? It's as new only used a few times in the house.
