  1. If your looking for anything helicopter related try Midland Helicopters as they have always been helpful. They have a large selection of electric helicopter kits.
  2. Is there any chance of a picture to help identify it?

    xbox 360

If you already had the original xbox and are looking to play xbox games on the 360 then you either need a memory card or a HD for the software patch to be installed on. As the premium is ready to connect to live then its the better option. If you decide on the premium get the play and charge kit with it as the batteries for the wireless controller don't last long.
  4. More along the lines of how hot the exhaust gets and the temperature the primer will take, but it’s probably me just being over cautious.
  5. Looks like a neat solution as long as it’s far enough away from the primer on the carb
  6. Hi G4 Nice vid, it seems to run pretty good but possibly lacking a little at the top end? Take a look at this thread started by yoclick as it covers what you need to know and do Starting Video
  7. As work on making a new shell hasn’t started yet I’ve only ran it twice as I don’t want to damage the abs shell. No stickers have been fitted as they’d also have to be removed so its only got a little dirty. Since taking the following picture rear brakes have been fitted as I didn’t like the transmission brake and front brakes have been ordered, so hopefully it should stop a little better. click thumbnail for larger image
  8. The timing on two stroke petrol engines can’t really be changed unless you are prepared to modify the piston which I wouldn’t recommend. Ignition timing also is pretty much fixed as the inductive pick up usually only has one mounting position.
  9. Nice video, covers what you need to know and works for all small petrol two strokes with similar carb's
  10. Sorry about the size of the larger image, those you would like to see it larger click the thumbnail below As to the cost of the carbon fibre shell I’d not really considered it as I have some left over from a previous project. The hardest thing I think is going to be making the mould as the only ones I’ve made before have been one piece moulds and I think the one for this is going to be in four or five piece’s. All I have to do now is find time to make it.
  11. As requested here's the first picture of my Marder. At the moment the shell is going to stay white and un stickered and as I plan to make a new one from carbon fibre
  12. Thanks for the replies I've now made my mind up and ordered the race version
  13. If the axle is not worn and the nyloc nuts you have just keep coming off try to get some Aerotight nuts or stiff nuts as these are reuseable unlike nyloc nuts. Modelshops may not stock these but most good fasterners suppliers should be able to help you out with these, I think that they are available from M3 upwards and look like
  14. If you going to use mdf don't let it get wet as water and mdf don't mix. Avoid acrylic sheet as it can be a bit brittle and crack under heavy impacts and can be affected by most solvents. Polycarbonate sheet could be a good choice but my favourite would have to be carbon fibre sheet with a fibreglass core, strong, light & a bit flexible only one real downside it does tend to be rather expensive unless you can find someone that has some with imperfections in that they are willing to sell cheaper.
  15. Hi Guys Nice forum you have here, very informative. First post here so please be gentle I'm thinking of buying one of these but I'm undecided on which one to get. I know it costs more to upgrade the Marder to the race version at a later date, but do the extras on the race version make any difference to the handling etc
