CC02 finished and ready for a good run over the holidays 🎄🎉

Took the converted Maverick Strada drift car  out for a couple of packs this morning 👍

It ran great no problems at all, got a few small adjustments to make but overall I’m really pleased with how it’s performing as a rally car.

 

The ghetto cover once again did a sterling job of keeping the crap out 😁

I gave the plastics a quick wash in some soapy water to get rid of the grot. I didn't want to scrub at the spider poo marks as I don't want to put any blemishes on the otherwise mint body.

 

I also didn't glue any bits together, they're all held on with masking tape. I thought the next owner might want them separate for painting.

 

It's got a lovely condition manual and a full set of original stickers too.

Cheers fellas 🍻 It’s a  lexan  body , Tamiya do them so well 👍 It came out quite well considering  it was painted outside at the garden table in -3 temps in the  dark 😂     I did have the garden light on and a patio heater at full beans 😁

Controversial opinion alert: The Summit is considerably more capable than the TRX4, probably because of the wheelsize, but regardless it’s an unbelievable rig. If I list my RCs, I often forget about I own the Summit, and every time I take it out, it shocks me how capable it is. It just has an LEM Gear and a new Servo, and it’s ridiculously good. Maybe I should invest some time and money into it the New Year. 

Best rig Traxxas has ever made imo 👍

Their rally bodies look great finished and include nice pre cut decals, the lexan is thicker than your typical Tamiya, killer bodies etc

Just upgraded to a 9th generation so no longer need this one.

It’s in good condition with great battery life as I rarely used it without it plugged in. 
Some light scratches and marks to the screen and case but overall in nice condition.

 

Running the latest IOS 16.1.1 and factory reset for new owner.
