Hi all, Just bought a new sav 4.6 from modelsport and while checking it over I've noticed that where the clutch bell sits it only covers 3/4 of the spur gear looks like the engine needs to come forward about 3-4mm .Ive had the engine out and spur gear off but everything is where it should be . Has anyone else noticed this ?

does your transmitter have end point settings? if so you'll need to adjust them if it's an old hpi tx there is a small dial on it try adjusting that for the steering and adjust you throttle linkage to get the carb properly/fully

Lrp 28 nosram 28 Losi 454 and the sh 28 p8 are all the same engines all made by the same company(golden lion) plenty of spares for the Losi 454 on eBay or I believe rc direct sell the sh 28 8 port and spares for it.

Check the front engine bearing for leaks while its out

the sleeve will heat up faster and further than the piston

modelsports own 25% fuel works great for me ive been using it for years now

Heat the sleeve up untill really hot push the piston to where you need it to be and let the sleeve cool down completely with the piston still in the sleeve. Then once its all cooled down enough to touch re-heat the sleeve and take the piston back out.That should sort it

Sounds like the front engine bearing has an air leak can you see oil around the front engine bearing just behind the flywheel?

Hi all ,Im running the new version hpi firestorm and im looking for an engine with a bit more go in it than the hpi g3.0 so i can gear up a little and maybe fit some bigger wheels but dont want to go overkill with a big block conversion. Anyone know of a stronger engine that uses a pullstart that will drop into the firestorm .

Hi all, Seriously considering buying thunder tigers rta4 sc truck i know they look a little bit strange but i kind of like that lol does anybody have one or seen one running that can give me there thoughts it? I know they are based off the mta4 so should be strong and easy to pick up parts etc Thanks

Read my post's that's exactly how i feel about a a sav xl with 26 power .....off course its enough to move it about but id want atleast the power of the current nitro model. A 23cc baja with pipe still does 40mph but owners want alot more! Whats so hard to understand lol
