  2. Yep, I will agree with that, I got the thicker diff cover. The other cover that is very uselful is the main cog cover. This will stops small stones etc. getting stuck in the gears. Personally, I bought a Carson Attack. It is 80% compatible in parts. Has loads of hop-ups as standard, and it is RTR cheaper than a Marder. I have broken/bent 1 shock strut. A replacement shock from Hobbytek in Germany took 4 days
  3. I will take the Blaze electrics for £12 posted. Cheers
  4. My 2nd RC car was a NB16 buggy from these people. It ended up off the road more times than I ran it. Their support is ok as they replaced the engine after a 'few' phone calls. The front crank bearing leaked more fuel than went through the piston! Now I have hindsight, for your money, or a little bit more you could buy a RC that has larger support such as HPI, Traxxas etc. Put another way, I would give them a miss. Hope this helps. GGG
  5. Today, as promised I have received a full refund, and I can also keep the Revo. I can only say Thank you for your generousity. RS4, I owe you an unreserved apology, and hope that this does not affect your trading reputation on this or other forums. I have traded with you before, and the issue of the Revo engine set aside, I can honestly say that the what you buy from RS4 is a really, really good deal. This can be low cost, or like the Revo I received loads of 'extras', spare bodyshells, wheels, tyres, arms, etc. etc. etc. Too much to list. Please accept my sincerest apologies, and thank you for sending the refund. I hope we can trade again in the future. Best Regards GGG
  6. Spintech v2 discharger http://www.spintec.nl/batman2.shtml will do this. Not cheap mind, I think it was about £50 from RCmart. Cheers GGG
  7. RS4, I bought the Revo 3.3 and it was delivered with a broken conrod, damaged piston, liner and scored port openings. There was so much damage internally, it was cheaper to buy a replacement engine from eBay. You told me you did not know about the damages as you run Brushless. Fair enough, I accepted that as I had dealt with you before. I showed you pictures of the damage to the engine the same day it was delivered and you agreed to refund some of the money as I was going to buy a replacement 3.3 engine myself to get the Revo working. It has been nearly 3 weeks now, hollow promises, no replies to my PM asking for the money and your inbox here is now full. I have tried to contact you on other forums with no response either. I am sorry, I don't like publically airing my woes, and hoped that this matter could be resolved between us. It would appear not. Unless this is resolved by Monday next week I will be taking the matter up with my Bank and I will seek the advice of a Solicitor. I feel well and truly stiched up and ripped off. I could have bought a new car! I asked you repeatedly to keep me informed if there were any problems with the payment. I have heard nothing. **Buyers beware*** Mods - I am sorry if this breaches any rules, please do not delete. I have no other means of contacting the seller. Thank you GGG
  8. Ziggy, am I being blonde..... If the powepack fails, the servo with have no power and the throttle return spring will work as per usual. That is the point of them I thought.
  9. I paid £50 more (£400 total) for a RTR Carson Attack. I a more than happy with it. 80%)+ of Marder parts fit it, and Hobbytek get spares to you in less than 5 days. Now that is an entry level to big scale
  10. Cracking shots mate. I do like the ones with all the dirt in the air.
  11. You will get taxed at the standard rate on the interest and the Building Society will do all of this automatically. This is fine for most people unless you are a higher tax payer. If this is the case, you have to pay the taxman more as the BS on pay basic tax. Unless you pay the higher rate of tax (40%) I would not worry about it, as it is all done for you.
  12. I have an attack and my bro-in law a Marder. My Attack is 80% compatible for spares, and comes with more hopups fitted as standard. New you will also get it RTR and a lot cheaper. Spares you can get from Hobbytek in Germany and they deliver in less than 5 days with cheap shipping and good prices. LHS say the stock spares for the Carson Attack is all I can say on that comment. BTW, his Marder has been broken more than my Attack. But I think that is down to driving styles I like the grass, he likes the hills and air........ If money is an issue by an Attack. Otherwise by a Marder as spares can be got anywhere.
  13. eBay USA about £4.50 posted I think. You could buy more and get a better deal on the postage. It looks like the washers are 3mm. You could get a bag of Stainless Steel (will never rust) washers for that price....
  14. Added some items to my Father's Day list

I get mine from here. Works out at 90p for a complete male and female set.
  17. If the receivers die as soon as you connect them up, it sounds like a power supply issue. You could have a major short/wiring problem caused by the 'hit'. Has anything else changed? BTW, welcome to the forum.
  18. Is your truck called Daisy per chance? BTW, nice paint job. It does look good. A head-turner no doubt.
  19. I am glad my bro-in-law does not read this forum. He got a s/hand Marder for Xmas from his missus which was in pretty good nick for the money. Every 2nd time it goes out, something breaks. I keep getting the "I thought this was going to be a cheap hobby!" line from her
