hello every 1 and sorry for hijacking thread. ive had a problem with my buggy for a while now and cant get it to run at all. looking for some factory settings for the jba 28 engine. more info for help of diagnosis. jba 28 engine with a new os number 8 plug and running 16% tornado fuel all this is in a 1/6 gv rambo. the issue i have is i had it to a recomended "nitro engine enthusiast with plenty of years experiance in tuning " and he adjusted every setting available , high speed needle, low speed needle, idle screw and theres another screw/needle in the carb that slides in and out of the low speed needle so if any1 can help at all it would be great. i want to get it running asap so i can then get some higher % fuel but not paying for it when i have the 16% tornado fuel knocking about. hi, no the car is second hand. the engine looks decent clean great compression no funny noises or anything so think its fine. your right about googling jba engines tho i searched before coming on here. i think ill go for a new plug to start me off. if the worst come to it can you recomend a good engine that will go straight on something with bags of power and reliable.

just to let people know i tried the 5.5 turns. 2.5 turns. 1.5 gap and it wouldnt start at all i think i had to wind the LSN out around another full turn to fire it up. altho when the ignitor was removed and gave it gas it bogged down and shut off. more than a 1/4 either way with the LSN it wont fire or sounds wrong and cuts straight off when ignitor removed. far from a good tune. have done the pinch test and at 3.5 turns out sounds good revs pick up then cuts out in around 3 secs. hope this helps people try to help me.

hi mate what sort of temp do you run your cars. i try keep em between 220*-230* hows this sound

as a rough guide what should i be looking at 7's-8-s something around this

i will do that then thanks alot every1. i run the engines somewhere between 230* and 250* is this a good temp to run them. cheers every1

HI MATE CAN YOU CONFIRM THESE ARE FULL TURNS AND NOT IN HALF TURNS. YOU HAVE BEING VERY HELPFUL CHEERS

thats great to hear. wich of the opti fuels would yo opt for the rtr or race. may still go for the byrons cheers mate
