  1. I bought a bunch of drain pipe connectors, about 4 inches high, work a treat.
  2. I used to have a 20v turbo 100 S4 Avant with a full stainless exhaust, I so miss that sound.
  3. That Quattro body is just great!! Wonder if you can fit a sound unit with the right engine noises in there too?
  4. M03 fitted with the Fabia WRC body from RCMart
  5. There's an SCX10 under there. The Wraith The Dingo SCX axles under a shorty Wraith cage.
  6. Gaz, I think I may some spare front bumpers and maybe a few other bits. I'll have a dig through tomorrow and pull them out.
  7. They won't work, they are too small and they are rear axles only. You can't mod them to be able to steer.
  8. It might be, never really looked that far into it. I know I have two, both mid motored and take saddle packs.
  9. I have a spare chassis and gearbox if you're interested. You may need the gear diff from yours as the ball diff slips a bit ( most people bin the ball diff in favour of the gear diff anyway.) I'll dig it out tomorrow and take a few pics.
  10. Gaz, if you speak to Pat (the guy who's number I sent you) he goes all over the UK and Europe with his trucks and construction models. He's even built his own layout in his garden complete with railway sidings.
  11. Gaz, just pm'd your a guys phone number. He lives near me and builds all sorts of model trucks and Earth moving kits and cranes. What ever you need he should be able to help you. Tony
  12. Any swaps for the Kalahari? If so what are you looking for?
  13. If it just touches the spring, you may get away with putting a washer between the axle and the bottom ball joint just to move it out slightly.
  14. The ARB's are good as it stops the car from lifting the rear wheel on hard cornering. Balloons and cable ties for the RX.
  15. 1. Shock oil really depends on ambient temps, and how you drive, I use 45 all round in the summer and 30 in the winter. 2. Tamiya AW grease, nice and sticky, and I run with an extra diff shim behind the planet gear on one side in the rear to make it a little stiffer. 3. Just plug them in, if the motor runs backwards, swap two over on a sensor less motor to change direction. 4. I run TG10 anti-roll bars front and rear for less body roll and set up with 12-14mm ground clearance on HPI Pirelli tyres (16mm on rally blocks) 5. RX in a balloon if it isn't under the inner body cover.
  16. Might be worth finding someone close by with a more robust charger and get them to give it a quick charge. Chances are it's almost at 0v and the charger isn't seeing it connected. It will need a few good cycles to bring it back if it isn't totally knackered.
  17. I have two TeamC TC02C (like themad monkey but better spec One is complete, the other is missing the shocks and the diff balls slip. The slim buggy wheels on the second one are included, no motors or esc's. can even supply the saddle pack battery if you need it. Let me know what you think. Tony
  18. If you just overdrive the front, you don't notice it dragging on longer runs, the back tyres will slip on the ground a little but that's it. I was a bit sceptical at first until I tried it, now all 4 of mine are set up like this. If you want even tighter steering, high lift knuckles and cvd's are the way to go.
  19. That is a very tasty looking D90, looks to have s few mods already done, have you got your hands on it yet? I was thinking, rather than 4ws, try under/over drive gears in the axles. The different gearing makes the front axle turn slightly quicker and pulls the truck around rather than trying to push itself around. MTronics RockC and a decent 35t motor will give you the best mix of torque and speed.
  20. Halfords do them in the bike department, or places like Millets or Go Outdoors.
  21. http://www.highonbikes.com/sealskinz-ultra-grip-windproof-waterproof-gloves-kj751-black.html?gclid=CjwKEAiAy8ujBRCY6c-hveijhFASJAAcyGicsCHaGV58xROkbpFyEmAmOXsbEtcKUVa87aW3H7cWcRoCFErw_wcB I have had the military version for 5 years but these are just brilliant.
  22. Mick, if you don't want to glue your tyres to the rims, have you tried the rubber band trick? Grab some bands and you sit them in the groove where the tyre beads lay. The tyres grab the band and the band grips the wheel, should stop the tyres spinning and slipping off of the rims.
  23. I have a red body for it, I'll grab pics of the spare chassis tonight.
