  1. Going to be hard to find anything that will last more than 2 mins on 6s lol
  2. Thats the same as the fly sky fsgt3b they are good transmitters only problem i have found is the finger trigger fro reverse snapped on mine.
  3. For a good one for your budget best route would be seccond hand i reckon and then you want to be looking at the spektrum ones if you want to go new route you won't get so many bells and whistles but you should be able to pick up a good 2.4ghz system with frequency hopping system built in for £32.99 By bells an whistles i mean things like model memory exp, nice lcd display for battery level, abs thats about all you will use mostly your looking at around £75+ and then on the pro ones you get telemetry which monitors temperature, revs etc they are around the £160 mark so get quite pricey and prices can go into the hundreds.

    Which Charger

Accucel 6 brill chargers either that or the imax b6 which is basically the same just in a blue casing in stead of black couple of them should do you your looking at about £24.99 or £34.99 with power adapter from most places or you can go 1 step further and etronix do a quad charger so 4 chargers in one they start from about £115 all of these chargers will charge all of the rc batteries you will ever need.
  5. once a month thats just brilliant i have to charge mine once every 2 weeks and thats just 8aa rechargeable batteries, sadly i found a weak point with them or it could just be me chucking it in my bag the rev bit of plastic snapped on mine glued it back lasted about 2 weeks and then broke again, used it on both my models. Apart from that i cannot fault them.

  7. savox are king with servos, they come at a price though when you say slow how quick do you want them to be? the turnigy is a little stronger than the savox, but the savox is 0.19 secconds and the turnigy is 0.20 seconds so i doubt there would be much difference between the 2. im my hyper i have a standard servo for throttle and break which does need to be upgraded really and then this one for the steering http://www.racing-cars.com/pp/Manufacturer/Core_RC/CR057.html its super quick at 0.12 seconds
  8. ahh right those little annoying adjusters that get forgotten the worst is when you know they need to be moved and you round the grub screw of becomes a nightmare to get them of then. ok mate no worries ill have a story about the anger with nitro engines then lol
  9. must say this is an odd one the obvious answer to over heating is to gear down i can't quite grasp if you have been running it on lipos just recently or if you have been running them a while personally i would gear down anyway. Just thought of something when you say they just stop how long do they last for before the "just Stop" as lipo batteries have a cut of point and dont die gradually like nimhs batteries you start to notice them die before the model stops. On lipo batteries they can be all out and the next just quickly stop dead. Thats the safe cut off point if say your running your model for around 20 minutes you would hit this point and then the motor would be hot anyway as you would expect with the added power from the lipos.
  10. they are good for the road depends where you want to run it and they should hold up
  11. Ahh brill did you ramp the steering dr right up to get the linkages to work i checked the forums for revo linkage problems and you are not alone seems to be something traxxas should have a look at, especially as not everyone wants to use the standard radio gear.
  12. Did you do any research for your first car you sure picked a good one
  13. yeah defo gets more money out of people but with most the initial cost of a model in one go is just too much so they sell loads that way but i didnt have the patience to wait so long for it to be complete, and then if you miss an issue and you try to track it down oh wait thats why i stopped mine lol
  14. Hi Mate, Sorry for late reply yeah im the same Richard glad the hyper is working like it should be, sounds like you have realy had enough of the revo lol
  15. wow you have patience barnetbasher "1987 was Tamiya Porsche 959 from a catalogue....52 weeks at 2.99 or something !" I started collecting the one for the tunder tiger ssk monster truck never got passed the 14th issue lol Jumped in at the deep end with electric
  16. yeah it gets a bit too crazy but good fun for showing off lol
  17. it is crazy mate the mmm combo have a guy at our local track met has it in a vorza flux on 6s nothing can catch it
  18. MMM combo no wonder why you need stronger diffs tried shimming them up ? do you run it on 6s ?
  19. Ahh right i see well in that case i would look to buy another of ebay or of the forums would stand more chance doing that than trying to find someone who does the parts
  20. i would go easy on it personally no more than 16% perhaps use some model technics to get some oil in it i find model technics to be more oily than most fuels
  21. Hmm R46 could be on to something there just googled "challanger 83" and got this:
