  1. Is there anywhere that sells the Baja as a new kit like the 5b ss? Kind of fancy one as I’ve never had a large scale but would much prefer to self build it.
  2. Well I’ve put two ebay listings up for them now and linked in classifieds here, will take offers but not too low unless they dont sell for a while.
  3. Sorry I didnt put price as its an ebay link, 400 for D8 plus 25 postage and 200 for Mini Inferno plus 20 postage
  4. Selling two of my cars as lack of use these days and too good to just sit on the shelf. 5. Thanks guys that’s kind of what I though £300-£400 max for D8 (has some spares with it) inferno harder to value maybe £150-£200?
  6. I have a couple cars I want to put up for sale and am wondering what kind value they are? One is a hotbodies D8 buggy with monster rc brushless conversion so basically a vorza, has tekin t8/rx8 and sa ox servo and is pretty much as new with no scratches under or over. Other is a Kyosho mini inferno half eight 1/16 ST09 nitro and mini starter box also mint without any scratches.
  7. I have the above buggy with a monster rc electric conversion on a run once chassis with a tekin rx8/t8 brushless system and Savox servo plus quite a lot of spares including a rough chassis, spare diffs and big bore shocks as well. Has a new trophy shell. Any idea what it would be realistically worth or should I part it all out instead? It’s a great buggy but I haven’t used it in years as don’t have time anymore and I’d rather use my firestorm when I do.
  8. What about the Jumpshot spur? Pressure plate looks the same just diff pads?
  9. I’m sure this has been covered somewhere but it’s a long thread! What are people doing for spur gears as they seem to be obsolete?
  10. Am i risking damaging the engine then using the 25%? Is the lubrication factor the same across all %? Id prefer not to have to chuck away the fuel i have left as im hardly into r/c these days but likewise dont want to wreck a perfectly good engine
  11. Whats the best brand/% fuel and plug to run this very small nitro engine on? Ive got a Kyosho mini inferno st09 half 8 with this tiny 1.5cc nitro engine. The cars been in my loft for many years after I barely finished braking in the engine last time it was out. engine and throttle barrel were seized, freed off with a bit of after run oil and some persuasion, charged all the batts and put some very old 25% opti fuel in it i had and it fired up first go and seems to run great around the garden! Just not sure if this is the best fuel for the engine? Mainly for longevity?
  12. I’m going to modify an associated b4 spur and slipper as I thought that might be the case. The servo specs seemed good unless I’ve got a lemon? I’ve used an old hispec 965mg which goes lock to lock as quick as I can turn the controller steering!
  13. Can anyone tell me where to get a spur gear from? No where seems to stock them not even on eBay?? also I bought the alturn ‘high speed’ servo recommended on this thread for my firestorm and was amazed at how ridiculously slow it is!? The sf1 is better! Sending back after about 30 secs in the model with the wheels off the ground!
  14. Do you have a better pic of the tool set showing sizes and how worn they are? Also are any of those wheel tyre sets in 2.2 size to fit a firestorm??
  15. no couldn't tell from the drive by, have tried googling the park name with bashing/rc ect but nothing comes up. Long shot really. guess ill just keep an eye out when i go past there in the future
  16. Drove past a park near me (Egham, Surrey) and saw maybe 10 guys with rc cars either getting ready for a bash or paking up from one. Any idea how i could track them down? Assume they much be part of a club...
  17. Ive been away from the hobby for a few years due to other commitments and rc's stored away, and now in a position where i have lots of free time again so was looking to dust off my cars and look for some meet ups to run the cars. Since ive been back looking on the forums it seems very few bashes going on and none at all in my area. Has this hobby declined in recent years?
  18. id be interested in dusting off my rc's and getting back into it again but theres been so little going on last few years and its no fun by yourself
  19. Sorry im over in Staines, no one seems to go out bashing anymore seems a pointless hobby now
  20. On another note has anyone tried these springs/shocks on their firestorm: front - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__85037__TrackStar_Aluminum_Shock_Absorber_Set_85mm_2_S160085_UK_Warehouse_.html back - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__85043__TrackStar_Aluminum_Shock_Absorber_Set_100mm_2_S160100_UK_Warehouse_.html Seems very good vfm and sounds like the right size
  21. Got my goolrc brushless motor today 2 weeks from china not bad really. quality looks good, time will tell but at £12 it cant be that bad!

  22. So I picked up a used firestorm from a friend that's in reasonable condition, shell is pretty much perfect wheels are a little battered and usual scrapes underneath. one thing I found odd was all four suspension arms seem to be warped down their length? ive bought new ones but haven't started the rebuild yet, any ideas why there are warped?
