my shed is full of car parts so thats out the question, so if its warm i work outside on a table or indoors in the lounge or in my bed room or if im at my mates place in his front room, but working on our rc's is childs play when we built my engine in his front room! LOL
my old man does his tree in if i get mud/oil/fuel anywhere though!
Friend of mine on here also found this out after several of his plugs had died!
We've switched to measuring out fuel and oil separately and mixing them in the mixing bottle lol
ill more than likely have my marder with me but im not sure if i'll run it or not, depends how shy i am on the day lol
my friend will be a no as he hasnt got a kill switch yet!
thought id update this thread!
took both marder's out over the weekend and decided to buy some proper mesauring jugs for the oil and fuel!
boost mad did some working out and found the mixing bottle to be around 12% out on its readings!
we measured out the some oil and fuel too the correct ratio and both run alot better now!
cheers for all the help and advice
finger is out lol

not sure if you can tell from that pic, but the plug tip is black!
we are indeed
thank you for the advice buddy, i'll head over and have a look
Thanks for the quick replies guys!
I'll confirm what ratio we were running today as I can't remember off the top of my head!
We were setting them both up today but didn't get very far after it killed his plug!
I have his plug in my car so I'll grab a picture of the plug shortly and post it up!
I don't think he's ever smelt his plug, can you explain what's the purpose of doing this?
Went out for a bit of play about with a friend and his fg marder today!
He seems to have an issue in that his marder keeps killing plugs! The plug/marder has barely used (2-3 tanks of fuel Max)
We tried the plug out of my marder and it seems to have slowly killed that as well!
Anyone got any suggestions on where to look first or what could be the cause?
