Sorry to ask this, but why stick a wing on a savage, Is it to make it go faster or create more down force. Tbh the savage is as aerodynamic as a brick!! So what is the gain, apart from a waste of money??

Thank you guys for the feedback, Within an hour the lipos shrunk back, I've had them both checked and every cell is fine though I was told that this does happen to hard cases. @R46 5300mah 25c 7.4v and their linked to Losi xcelorin 2200kv combo, well the one that came with the Losi 8E, the system got replaced by Horizon Hobbys at christmas due to the old system failing with an unknown fault.

I have a pair of hard cased hpi plazma lipos 2s which I've linked in series. After a 20min run tonight I noticed that both packs have started to expand ever so slightly They were warm to the touch and now rock when on a flat surface. Is this normal and will they contract back to shape when they cool down, as I've had hard cased lipos before that have blown the case apart? Cheers guys

This brings back memories, I got a blue one last year and removed the motor and esc the day it arrived, replaced it with a Carson 12t brushless combo and kept the truck standard. I used to show people how strong this truck was, by driving it full speed into various stationary objects and watching it bounce off and keep going. This truck has replaced my Hyper 7 as indestructible. I even went as far as to drive it off the top of a quarry at full speed. It fell 147ft to the quarry floor smashing the body, both front shocks and the lipo fell out, yet it drove off dragging the lipo behind it.

Just brought a Losi night crawler for my 3yr old son, who is over the moon with it, and we've been out together with it today after upgrading the steering servo to a savox. Just wondering what upgrades we can get/do to it? I've relocated the lipo over the front axle as well as adding weights to the rear wheels, so it handles a lot better. I was told that the Losi comp crawler has inter-changeable parts! Is this true and what parts?? Cheers guys

What engine is in it? If the losi 350 engine, then don't bother, as I had this engine and it used to get too hot.

A metal spur gear, a bigger engine, the list is endless, Just look in the Savage gallery and see what others have added to their trucks, then think about your budget.

I thnik the Losi 8ights ran a 50T spur, with the 8T's on a 48T and 8E's on a 45T, these are the sizes I run on mine. Though I could be wrong.

Check JE Spares on as I got some high bite low wear clutch shoes from their, failing that, give Bolton Model Mart a call and they'll sort you out.

Cheers guys, I just thought, being a bigger engine, it could take a higher % of nitro.

It's a heli engine, I've got a starterbox, but would it run a different fuel to normal buggies ie 20-30% nitro? Cheers

I run Go glow plugs and they never seem to come with the copper washers, last year alone, I used 43 copper washers between 5 glow plugs.

Based on a 16t losi clutch bell - Length= 25.75mm, teeth=6.93mm. Hope that helps

Does anyone know where I can get glow plug copper washers in bulk. ie 30-50? Cheers guys

First off, This engine is sitting in a Thunder Tiger EK-4 S2 (1/8 monster truck) I have managed to rebuild most of the truck due to it going airborne. My problem lies in what fuel does it drink and how would I start it? Cheers all
